Chapter 22

Amelia's POV:

Why the hell did I just do that? If anything I needed him more than ever right now.

I don't want to bring down the band with this.

Josh walked out of the apartment with his head hung low. I felt like I was being stabbed in the heart knowing I did that to him.

Jenna walked into the apartment with a sad smile.When did she get here?

"Hey AJ" she said

"When did you get here JJ" I asked

"I came with Josh. What happened between you two" she asked truly concerned

She sat down on the couch and I joined her.

"I broke off our engagement" I said turning my head away

"Why did you do that? I thought you loved him" She said shocked

"I do. I just don't know. I need to get my head and self together. Im a mess." I said shaking my head

"It'll be fine AJ. Take some time get your head together. I hope you still come on tour with us, I feel like that's what you need. You need to get out of your bubble and see new places" she gently rubbed my arm

"Thanks JJ. I hope I come to. Watch out for Josh for me" I mumbled hugging her

"I will. Be safe." she said hugging me and getting up

She grabbed her purse and left. Steve and Luke rushed into the living room. Steve had his hands behind his back, smiling rather large.

"What are you smiling about" I asked glaring at him

"I'm going to be an UNCLE!" He yelled

"What?" I shockingly asked

"Why did you hide this from me?" He said pulling the pregnancy test out from behind his back.

"I don't know. I'm scared and I thought if I didn't tell anyone it wouldn't be real" I shrugged

Just the thought in my head of being pregnant is scaring me. I wasn't ready to be a mom right now. I had just graduated high school a year ago.

This is exactly what Shane said. God I hate him. He has never liked Josh. Ever since I brought Josh to his house, he hasn't liked him. The words he said every time I visited replay in my head.

•Flashback•

"He's older Amelia, he's going to get you pregnant before you're even ready. I don't want this to happen" Shane yelled

"It's not going to Shane. Even if it does we'll handle it. Just because you couldn't doesn't mean I can't" I yelled back

"Don't even bring that up we are talking about you and your over-aged boyfriend" he yelled

"He's not over-aged. Shane I know you don't like him for whatever reason but you can't use that against me. I love Josh more than any one I've ever met. Im sorry you can't can't except the fact that I'm happy" I said trying to calm down

"Ahme I want you to be happy.I really do, I just want it to be with someone your own age. I know you love him but come on, are you sure about this" he said

"I'm sure Shane. If it doesn't work it doesn't work but right now it is" I smile

"You're only 17 though"

"I know Shane"

"Just be careful. I don't want you to get hurt"

• End of Flashback•

"Amelia are you okay?" Luke asked

"I don't know" I said honestly

"We'll make it better but first you need to talk to Josh. He's the father of your baby. I know you are scared but I believe you guys will be great parents" Luke said rubbing my arm

"I doubt Josh even wants to talk to me." I said tearing up

"I'll calm him and says it an emergency." Steve announced "which it kind of is"

"Thank you guys so much but can it wait till tomorrow" I asked "I just haven't really processed it myself yet"

"Ya of course. We're gonna head into bed. If you need anything just yell" Luke smiled kissing the top of my head

"Night guys" I smiled and walked off into my room for the week.

I changed into one of Josh's t-shirts that when to the middle of my thighs. Inhaling the scent of cotton candy, I frowned. I am such an idiot. Out of everything I could have done or said, I broke up with him.

-Next morning-

After my now normal, morning routine I got dressed. Luke texted Josh to come over to the apartment and luckily he agreed. I brushed my teeth to get the disgusting taste of throw up out of my mouth. There was a knock on the door and for safe measures I put in a piece of gum.

Slowly walking out into the living room, Steve gave me a reassuring smile.

"Hey" I said shyly

"Hey" Josh whispered

"I'm sorry for yesterday. I'm just so scared" I said tearing up.

"Why are you scared A" Josh said walking towards me.

"I-I'm pregnant" I whispered turning my head away

"What" He shockingly asked

"You are going to be a dad and I'm going to be a mom" I said louder

"That's amazing Amelia" Josh gushed

"What" I said in disbelief

"This" he said gesturing towards me. "I can't believe it we're going to be parents"

Josh rushed over to me and picked me up, spinning me around. I couldn't help but laugh at his reaction.

"I love you Amelia Lucia Jones" He smiled into my neck

"I love you too Joshua William Dun" I smiled

I finally felt ok. After the past few days this is what I needed.

"We're gonna be uncles" Luke and Steve cheered.

"You guys already knew that" I laughed

"Wait they knew before me" Josh asked

"Ya" I shrugged

"That's unfair" he said faking a sad face

Josh,Steve,Luke and I all cuddled together on the sectional. We talked about baby names and nursery ideas. I was only 6 weeks along, which I found out when I went to the clinic yesterday. Josh claims that he already can tell we are having a girl but I thought other wise.

Steve has already called naming the baby which is causing me to worry. I highly doubt we will actually let him though.

As one can tell Josh and I are back together. Tomorrow we are going to Ohio to see Josh's parents and tell them the good news. I'm really nervous for their reaction.
