Chapter 11

Josh's POV:

-January 18-

We got the apartment in Baltimore. Amelia was so excited when she told Morgan.

I was in Baltimore a week before her so I could get the apartment ready. It was my second day and I was already miserable. She was finishing up work and saying goodbye to everyone back home.

I also had a plan for when she came, to propose. It's been my plan for a while and began think why not? I've known since the day I met her that she was perfect and that I wanted to spend my whole life with her.

"Hey baby girl" I said answering the phone

"How is it up there" she asked

"Cold and lonely" I sighed

"Don't you go all Ty on me" she laughed

"I miss you so much"

"I miss you too Jessa isn't as good as company as you" she sighed

Jessa was the cat Ronnie had gotten us for Christmas. She was black and brown and really soft. Amelia cried for 10 minutes when Ronnie brought her over.

"I doubt that. Jessa is great company"

"She's cuter than you are for sure but she doesn't do what you do"

"I am highly offended Ms.Jones"

"Its what I do best"

"5 more days baby girl"

"5 more days I can't wait" she giggled

"I hate being away from you"

"5 days I'll be their Friday ok"

"Fine but we have a whole week to catch up on" I said with a smirk

"Oh yes we do"

"I've got to go but I'll talk to you tonight" I said

"Ok love you"

"Love you too baby girl" I said and hung up.

Tyler was in town today and was going to help me find a ring for Amelia. He was my only friend that was married or had been engaged so he seemed best fit for the job and the fact he's my best friend.

I put on my cat shirt with a collar and black jeans. Sending Tyler a text I walked out the door.

"Joshy" I heard him yell as I reached the jewelry store

"TJ" I yelled picking him up

"So a ring big step for you big boy" he smiled slapping my back

"Ya I really hope this works out" I sighed

"Dude Amelia loves you and you love her why wouldn't it work out? All she does is talk about how cute and romantic you are I doubt she will say no"

"Thanks Ty" I said hugging him

"If you hug me again you may have to marry me instead" he laughed

"I guess so" I said hugging him again

"So how are you gonna propose"

"I was thinking that I'm gonna pretend I'm too busy to pick her up at the airport on Friday so she'll take a cab back to the apartment. She'll unlock the door to the apartment and boom I'll be right there on one knee with the ring" I smiled

"You really are romantic"

"I guess" I shrugged

The two of us walked around the store looking for a ring that screamed Amelia. So far we had no luck. The way we were looking you would have thought we were looking for gold.

"Josh over here" Tyler yelled

"Find one" I asked looking over his shoulder

"Ya this one" he smiled holding up a little ring

It had a silver band with little black gems and diamonds are it and in the middle their was a larger black gem. It wasn't girly and it wasn't like any other ring. It was perfect for her.

"You did good Joseph" I said high fiving him

I bought the ring and we went out to lunch at Chipotle.

"At least they have a Chipotle here" Tyler laughed

"Ya" I laughed

"Are you ok Joshy you seem nervous" he asked

"Ya I'm worried about Ahme and Jessa" I sighed

"Weird Girl and Jess are ok don't worry they will be here Friday" Tyler smiled

"I can't wait to see my girls" I smiled

We finished eating and I drove back to the apartment. It was hard adjusting to the difference of having a apartment instead of a house. I had set up my Amelia's art stuff in the spare bedroom. I had convinced Amelia to let me keep my practice kit in the living room but I might move it into her art room since there was space.

"Hey baby girl" I said calling Amelia

"Hey loser" she laughed

"What's so funny" I asked with a laugh

"Jessa is pawing at the shirts in my suitcase and trying to pick them up" she giggled

"You're adorable" I chuckled

"What you do today" she asked

"I went to Chipotle" I half lied.

I didn't tell her about Tyler being in town. She would start asking questions about why he was there and I would end up slipping.

"Yes they have a Chipotle there" she cheered

"Gah I love you" I smiled

"I love you too loser" she laughed

"Don't call me a loser" I laughed

"Fine weirdo"

"That's your name"

"Lame"

We went on like this for an hour. She is so adorable, everything she says makes me smile. When she smiles it feels like my heart is going to burst out of my chest and right into her hands.

We hung up and I was left alone in the apartment with my thoughts. The cable wouldn't be set up until tomorrow so I couldn't watch tv. I went on my phone and started replying to people on Twitter. I sent an 'I miss you' tweet to Amelia.

Amelia and I went officially public 2 years ago. Most people were supportive but there was a lot of people who sent hate. The clique put it together earlier but we finally confirmed it.

Ahme sent me a video of Jessa playing with her bags and began laughing. Here I am a lonely guy who is in an apartment miles away from his girls. If that doesn't sound pathetic I don't know what does.

I began tearing up looking at all the pictures I had of Jessa and Ahme. It's been two days but I miss them so much. They way I was acting you would have thought I hadn't seen them in months.

I took off my clothes and fell into bed. Yawning I put my phone on the charger. I was left with thoughts of my girls as I fell asleep.

So I got a new phone and I'm very excited. So now I can write chapters instead of just posting my prewritten ones. I prewrote 10 chapters for this wow.
