Amelia's POV:
Today the boys and I are going to the mall to look for some baby clothes and maybe some nursery ideas. Josh and I were gonna wait until he got back to start the nursery but some ideas never hurt. I also had to stop by HT to talk to Angela about a few things.
I got dressed and met the boys out in the living room.
"Ready to shop till you drop" Luke asked all sassy
"Well we might be there for only an hour then" I laughed
"Ready" Steve asked
"I need to call Josh real quick" I said walking into the room
I clicked Josh's contact and waited for him to pick up.
"Hey baby girl" Josh said excited
"You sound happy" I said smiling
"Well I'm talking to my favorite person" He laughed
"You're such a dork" I laughed
"So what are you doing today" he asked
"The boys and I are gonna go look at nursery shit and baby clothes"
"I wish I could be there"
"I do too but you'll be here in 10 days"
"I'm so excited"
"I am too I can't wait to have my cuddle buddy back"
"I'm more than just a cuddle buddy" I could just hear his smirk
"I'm so horny right now don't even try"
"Baby got you going"
"JOSHUA" I yelled
"Sorry" he chuckled
There was a knock on the door and some complaining from Steve.
"Hey babe Steve is getting annoying I'll talk to you later" I laughed
"Ok have fun and be safe"
"I will I love you"
"Love you too" he said and hung up
I grabbed my purse and met the boys in the living room.
We went down the elevator and all got into my car.
We drove to the mall while jamming to Cinematics by Set It Off. This baby better like good music.
It's seems the farther I get into my pregnancy the more I think about the baby. I think about what he'll look like and what he'll sound like. I wonder what his favorite band will be or his favorite color. The little details that make him, him are constantly floating through my head.
When we reached the mall I got out and went to HT first. Angela was looking bored at the counter.
"Ang" I called
"Amelia you're back early" she smiled
"Ya I guess" I smiled pulling her into a hug
"Holy shit you're pregnant" she cheered
"Ya 6 months" I said fake cheering
"So I guess you've come to say good bye" she said with a sad smile
"Sadly but I'll hopefully be back after he's born and we get settled" I said trying not to tear up
"Don't worry Amelia you're always welcomed back here. We're your second family" she smiled hugging me
Right when she said that an old friend of mine walked in from the back.
"Miles" I smiled
"Oh my god Amelia" he smiled rushing over to me
"It's been so long" I said hugging him
"Ya like 2 years" he said his smile growing bigger by the second
"is that Latte Boi" he asked motioning to Steve
"Ya it's me Milo" Steve said giving him a tight hug.
I used to work at Hot Topic with Miles before he moved. He was one of the first people I got close to when I started there. Him and I used to have Steve bring us Starbucks since Steve used to work there. Miles was originally from Canada so that is how we came up with the nickname Latte Boi. Not to mention Steve had a little summer love with him, if you know what I mean.
"I can't believe it when did you start working here" I asked
"About a month ago. I was working at the one in Maine but it was too fucking cold" Miles laughed
"And Maryland isn't" Steve laughed
We talked for a little bit more before Luke started getting antsy.
We went around to the stores and picked up some baby clothes. I got him a cute little shirt that said "Little Punk" with guitars and neon colors. Baby clothes are so cute. Basically anything that's little is cute. I picked up a few newborn things. I sent Josh nursery ideas while we were looking around.
Steve and Luke walked off, they were mysteriously whispering to each other which caused me to worry.
I walked around a little while more before going on a search for the boys. I called them but they both went straight to voicemail. I looked around for 10 minutes but still couldn't find them. I was beginning to panic.
I finally found them at the registry desk talking on the phone. Steve and Luke both had grins plastered on their faces. This won't end well.
"Ahme guess who the best best friends are" Luke smiled
"I don't know" I joked
"Well it's us" Steve grinned
"What did you do now" I asked
"We are throwing you a Baby Shower. Don't ask me why it's called a shower but we are doing it" Luke said enthusiastically
"Guys I don't want a baby shower" I complained. I appreciated the gesture but I hate people giving me things.
"That sucks Princess because as your best friend it is my duty to make having this baby easy and not stressful" Steve said wrapping an arm around me
"Hi are you here to create a registry" A woman asked
"Not today" I smiled
"Ok if you need anything just ask" She smiled a winked at me
What the hell?
"How many people are gonna think we're dating" I asked
"Babe should we do the thing she's looking" Luke smirked
"Let's do it" Steve smiled
Next thing I knew Luke and Steve were full on making out, causing me laugh. The woman gave them a disgusted look which Steve answered with a middle finger.
"I hate you guys" I laughed
"Oh come on like you and Joshy don't do this. We know you do other things" Steve laughed
"Fuck you" I laughed hitting him
We finished up at the mall and left. We were all holding hands as we walked swinging them in between us.
I love these boys more than anything.
