The next morning, I woke up to people laughing. I saw that everyone was up besides nonna. My dad handed me some food. I thanked him and he smiled.

After I ate, I decided to walk outside for a bit. Ryder joined me. We walked and talked. Once we got back in, my dad said that someone wanted to see me. I went in the room to find my nonna up.

"NONNA!" I screamed and I hugged her.

She laughed and hugged me back. I cried a little because I had missed her so much. I didn't let her go until she told me to.

"Look at you. You've gotten so big and you look like such an intelligent young lady." she said.

I laughed and smiled at her. She wiped my tears off my face.

"Don't cry, precious, I'm ok." she said, giving me that smile that I missed oh so much.

I laughed a little, "Nonna, these are tears of joy. I've missed you so much." I said, trying to contain my tears.

She smiled and looked behind me to see my friends who were also crying. I laughed and so did they. Nonna had open arms for them and the first to hug her was Xioe. Xioe has been with us since we were born. She had all of Nonna's respect just as much as the rest. She also hardly ever got emotional over these things but ever since we got here, she's been crying a lot. First it was my dad, now it's my nonna. I was just glad that these people were people I could call family.

After Xioe was done, Ryder went and hugged her. He was crying too. He was always nonna's baby boy in her eyes. I loved it. It was sweet of her to treat them like they were her own. Of course nonna had a thing for shipping people, even if she didn't know what it meant she still did it. Since I met Ryder, she thought me and him would get married from the get go. I tried to convince her that she was wrong but now, I couldn't convince her when I knew the truth. I loved him and I was happy with him, there was no way in hell was I letting this go. I wanted to tell nonna so badly but she still looked tired, so I didn't bother her about it.

Next was Josh and oh did he love my nonna. After his nonna had passed, he would only ever do anything for her. Then once he met my nonna, he decided that he would come to town more often. He thought that he had a second chance at having a nonna and he was not gonna let that chance slip away from him. Once he met nonna, he learned to love nonna as did she. He became attached to her in an instant. He would do anything for her and I know it.

My dad was the last one to hug her and make sure she was ok. I smiled at the thought of being back in the same house of those two. I was always the happiest when I was around them and my friends. They understood my friends and loved them and would do anything for them. I was happy.

We all sat down next to her and started to talk to her. She asked us loads of questions. She asked us things like, how is school and did you get a job and are you four still acting like kids. We laughed at most of her questions because we already knew the answers to them. One question she asked me was if I had the courage to look at the letter from years ago. I didn't answer. I didn't know how to answer. On one hand, yes I hadn't opened the letter but on the other, I had been receiving so many and I hadn't even opened one. I even brought one down here thinking that I would. Oh and I hadn't even told my dad yet.

When she saw the expression on my face, she knew that I hadn't opened them. My dad looked at me confused. My nonna didn't ask anymore questions about it, seeing that my dad was confused as to why we were bringing up this topic. She changed the subject and asked how Xioe and Josh's relationship was. They smiled and they told her that everything was going good. Josh said that if he could, he would buy her a ring and propose to her right now. Xioe playfully hit him and they laughed.
