For the people that have read my other story, TODAY IS THE ANNIVERSARY! :D Today, one year ago, is the day that I started writing Clarity. ^_^ I'm so happy.

I MADE A TRAILER. It kinda sucks, but meh. I'm slowly getting more and more proud of it. AND I FIGURED OUT HOW TO PUT MY OWN CUSTOM THUMBNAILS ON IT! YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW HAPPY I WAS!

The link to the trailer is on top, and I also put the external link to the videos on my channel if you wanna check it out. I have one for Skyfall, Mr. Jackson (Story I'm planning), and I made one for my friend Nat for her story Cloud 9! :D You should also go look at that story. By the way, I don't care if I already said you should go look at it, I'm telling you again. DEAL WITH IT. :P

:') This chapter was actually hilarious to write. I actually looked up a bunch of things people have said while they're high.

Okie dokie. Well, that's about it. Enjoy!

Chapter Seventeen

Clarke tried to look at the burn marks I had gotten from the wires, but I wouldn't let her. I didn't trust her anymore, and I didn't trust Raven either. I put cold water on the burns, and then left. I went to the upper floor, right after Octavia did.

Clarke had just removed the tool, and was trying to clean the grounder's wound, but he was refusing. He was clenching his fingers into his palm, which was likely causing him even more pain. I didn't want that.

"I need to clean this," Clarke said, but he was resistant. Really though, what did she expect? That he would just accept her sudden care for his health with open arms? No dice, princess.

"Here, let me try," Octavia said, and he was much more accepting with her. He opened his hand, and Octavia pressed the cloth into his palm, wiping at the blood and cleaning the wound effectively.

"I never wanted him to get hurt, Octavia. You have to know that," She said, staring at her with a saddened look on her face. "I just wanted to save Finn."

"For the record, you didn't save Finn, that was me. But, whatever you wanna tell yourself to feel better," Octavia said with a cold and angry tone.

Clarke sighed, walking towards the ladder.

"And, Clarke," I called after her, and she turned with a small amount of hope in her eyes. "I wanted to save Finn too. But I didn't want to torture someone to do it."

Clarke sighed again, and climbed down the ladder sadly.

I grabbed another cloth, and began to wipe at the blood on the grounder's face. I wasn't afraid of him, and neither was Octavia. We seemed to be the only ones.

"I'm so sorry," Octavia said, and I saw the pain in her eyes. "You saved my life, and look at the thanks you get," she shook her head.

"We didn't want this to happen," I said, biting my lip.

I saw the corners of his lips turn up into a smile, and then turned my head to see the grounder's hand moving over Octavia's. She stared at him, stunned, the same as myself. We both stared at him as he looked at us.

"Thank you." He said, the words coming out hoarsely and painfully.

I was shocked. He spoke english? And he never said anything before?

"Hey," I turned to see Miller getting up and walking over to us. "He just say somethin'?"

"No," Octavia said quickly.
