:) Hiya! I have to apologize in advance, because this chapter is VERY cliche. Horribly so. Oh well.

So there really isn't anything else to tell about this chapter...

Oh wait. I lied. HAHAHAHA.

So, I've been keeping a secret from you guys...

THERE IS GOING TO BE A SEQUEL.

YES. YOU READ THAT RIGHT. I AM MAKING A SEQUEL TO SKYFALL.

AHHHHHHHHHHHH.

Right. Well. I can't give away all my secrets, now can I? I'm not telling you all when the sequel is coming, other than a select few that already know. However, I will tell you that the sequel happens WAAAAAAY after the second season starts, but also before the middle of it. Can anyone guess what's gonna happen? ;) (DON'T YOU DARE SAY IT CAITLIN OR I WILL GO ALL GROUNDER ON YOU OKAY).

Also, the song for this chapter is "Sound Of Your Heart" by Shawn Hook. Cause I'm addicted to it. And it kinda tells how Murphy missed Ven. :)

Enjoy! ^_^

Chapter Twenty-Two

I didn't know how long it was before I woke up again, but I knew that Murphy hadn't moved an inch. He had moved since then, but seemed to have returned, his back against the wall. He had been sleeping, but he opened his eyes when he felt my body begin to stir.

"Hey," I smiled softly at him, the word coming out hoarse and deep.

"Hey," He smiled back. "How're you feeling?"

"Better," I muttered, rolling over onto my side to face him. "What about you?"

"I'm okay," he said. "I'm almost back to normal I think, other than the scratches and cuts," he sighed softly. "It hurts like hell, but I'll live."

"You should lay down," I said, but the words came out as more of a whisper.

He shook his head. "Nah, I'm fine, I'll just-"

"Murphy," I cut him off, and he raised a brow at me. "Lay down."

He let out a sigh, then nodded and moved beside me. He laid down on his back, and put his right arm behind his head to make a pillow, then turned to look at me. I was facing him on my side.

He stared at me silently, and then parted his lips as if he was about to say something, but I beat him to it.

"I'm sorry," I whispered.

"You don't have to be sorry."

"Yes, I do," I said, biting my lip. "I didn't try hard enough, I could have convinced Bellamy to let you come back, but I was caught up in how angry I was with him, and I just-"

"Ven, it's fine," He stated. "You don't have to worry about it."

"But I-"

"Venus," He said, his eyebrows raising. He shook his head at me, sighing and looking up at the ceiling. "You couldn't have done anything. I've been around Bellamy long enough to know that he doesn't forgive easily. And he sure as hell doesn't forget."

"Neither do I," I whispered. "I remember what we told each other the night before you left."

He turned back to look at me, an eyebrow raised.
