When I broke the news to Eduardo, he was ecstatic. I, on the other hand was not. I could not get Justin off my mind. I kept running that scenario from the garden through my head. I broke his heart even more. I felt horrible for being so stuck up and angry at him. He was trying to fix us. He tried, but I was the reason his fairy tale did not go as planned. I ruined his happily ever after.

"Hey, sweetheart, where are we going to have the wedding?" Eduardo asked. I kept thinking about that night. "Honey? Are you listening?"

I snapped out of my trance and looked at him. "Huh?"

He laughed then came and put his arms around my waist. He kissed me on the nose. "What's the matter?"

"I guess it is this wedding stuff, can we take a break from it? I know we are getting married next week, but I really just need to get away from it for a while."

"THANK YOU!" He said excitedly. "I have been waiting for a break. What do you want to do?"

I thought for a long time. "We have been engaged for what, seven months, right?" He nodded. "I think I want to go to America to visit my Grandmother. I do not think I have told her, yet."

"Okay, I think that will be great. Do you want me to come?"

"I think it will be best if I tell her myself. She may or may not take it well."

He looked confused. "Why wouldn't she take it well?"

"She's old?" I lied.

He laughed. "Okay, well just keep in touch with me. I will let you know if we need you back."

"Grandma!" I said running up to her.

She wrapped me in a great big teddy bear hug. "Bridge, I am so glad to see you! It has been way too long. How have you been?" She asked.

"About eight months." I said walking in with her.

She smiled. "Oh, honey, you have to visit more often."

"Sorry, I have just been busy."

"Busy with what?"

I hesitated to tell her. "Umm... My wedding."

She stopped dead in her tracks. "Your wedding? Why didn't you tell me?"
