Cale is squirming on his bed on a lovely day because of the sudden light that hits on his face, he covers his eyes and tries to go back to sleep, but he can't. He could feel some paws pushing him down and urging him to wake up. He opened his eyes slowly and rose to his bed in anger.
"Ugh..."
He groaned before brushing his face with his hand. He then started to head down and wear his slippers.
"Good morning, Human!"
Raon greeted him with a big smile before supporting his human, who had trouble standing up.
"He's awake!"
"Finally!"
On and Hong walked around Cale as if they were checking him to see if he was okay.
"Sigh"
Cale took a sigh before ringing the bell on the table beside his bed; it signals the servants that he had woken up.
After defeating White Star, Cale Henistuse became the right-hand man of the Emperor and one of the pillars supporting the Empire. At this time around, the Roan Kingdom has turned into Roan Empire as it became the central figure of the western continent. The Emperor in this new Roan Empire is none other than Alberu Crossman.

Someone entered Cale's bedroom with the doorknob twisting and the door opening. Ron Molan, Cale's butler, and his information network group leader. He holds a teacup filled with lemonade instead of tea and hands it over to Cale. He grabbed it and dunked it without hesitation; it tasted sour, but because of it, Cale felt awake.
"Young Master, the Duke wants to talk to you."
Cale looks at Ron's calling before handing him back the teacup. He slowly walked towards the sofa in his room and signaled Ron to prepare his bath for him. Cale saw some fruits on the table in front of the sofa and devoured them. He also feeds the children some fruits, and they happily eat them.
"Young Master, it is ready."
Ron came out and told Cale that he was done preparing his bath. Cale rose and started to head to the bathroom.
"Basen wants to see me, right?"
Cale asks as he walks.
Ron only nods at his question and helps Cale undress. On, already gone out because she didn't want to stay when Cale undressed his clothes.
"Did he say anything else?"
"Nothing else, Young Master. He said that he's going to tell you personally about something."
Cale frowned as he couldn't guess what his younger brother wanted. Basen Henistuse, the second son of Deruth Henistuse, became the new Duke of Henistuse Household.
'It's a good thing that he became the Duke, but what does he want this time? Every time he calls me, it is whether the Emperor called him or the Emperor is making him do something that also equals to me working on something.'
Cale has a bad feeling about this. He felt his back getting cold.
*TIME SKIP*
Cale is currently at Basen's office and sipping some morning tea as he sits comfortably on Basen's office's couch.
Scribble
You can hear some scribbling throughout the office; It was Basen doing some paperwork.
'Basen seems busy...'
Cale can see a pile of papers on Basen's desk; even at the table in front of the couch, there are papers, even stampers scattering around. In other words, Basen's office is a mess.
'I kinda started to pity him.'
Cale continues to drink his tea and glance at Basen with a pitying gaze from time to time.
It was silent between the two of them, and all you could hear was pen scribbling on paper.
But someone broke that silence.
"Hyung-nim"
It was Basen.
Cale flinches at his younger brother's calling and slowly down the teacup and places it on the blank area of the table.
"Yes?"
Even though Cale sounded normal but he was very nervous about what will Basen say next.
Basen put his pen down and looked at care with seriousness on his face.
Gulp
Cale gulped silently for Basen not to hear him. He started to slowly back away and attempted to leave, but he couldn't when he listened to what Basen said next.
"Could you keep track of your dear Emperor?"
His eyes opened wide at one word that Basen said.
'Dear...?'
"Huh...?"
He was dumbfounded.
