"Could you keep track of your dear Emperor?"

"Huh...?"

Cale looks at him in confusion.

'What does he mean 'dear' '?

Cale couldn't understand why his younger brother Basen asked him something stupid. He stared at Basen and opened and closed his mouth a few times because he wanted to ask what he meant earlier, but Basen was faster.

"He's been contacting me for a while because he doesn't want to disturb your rest."

Cale is confused; why would the Emperor, Alberu, keep calling him.

Basen can already tell what Cale's thinking. He took a sigh before grabbing back his pen and scribbling something on the paper, and continuing to speak at Cale.

"Do you want to know why?"

Cale nodded in response and slowly positioned himself correctly before grabbing the teacup and drink.

"He wants to know how you're doing."

PFFT-

Cale spilled his tea, and it was dripping from his mouth to his chin and then to the carpet. He looked at Basen in shock, and his eyes seemed to be asking, 'What the hell is he talking about?'. Basen wants to laugh because of his hyung-nim's expression.

He handed Cale a paper that he was writing earlier. Cale wiped his mouth with his handkerchief and grabbed the piece from Basen's hand.

"What is this?"

Cale asks while reading the contents of the paper. Basen went back to his seat to grab something and gave it to Cale.

"A pendant?"

Cale asks in confusion. Why would Basen give him a pendant? It doesn't seem to be a gift?

'Then what is it?'

"That's the mission the Emperor gave you this time."

Basen sat across from him and ordered his assistant to clean the mess on the table and give him some tea.

He took a sip from the teacup and looked at Cale.

"Mount. Kitsune? That Mountain from the legend?"

Cale is still reading the paper that Basen gave him because he couldn't understand why the Emperor would order him this.

Mount Kitsune is the Mountain from the legend. It was known that the Fox tribe lived on that Mountain and have said that the tribe no longer exists because of the Lion Tribe. And yes, the Mt. Kitsune still exist around this time, and there is a village just below it. The village's name is Rena Village. Mt. Kitsune is located in the south.

"Mt. Kitsune still exists, but they have never been considered a forbidden zone. You know why, right, Hyung-nim?"

Cale just put the paper on the table and analyzed his thoughts before answering Basen.

"The Mt. Kitsune is known for having red trees as if they were always at fall. It is famous for tourists to visit."

Not just that, there are sayings that half of the Mountain is covered in fog, and if you pass through that place, you will lose your way and be unable to come back.

'People thought that the Mountain had become the Cat Fog Tribe's habitat.'

Cale is still confused about why Alberu gave him this mission and glances at Basen, who keeps drinking his tea as if he didn't just drop a bomb at Cale.

Cale took a sigh and brushed his hand to his face. He grabbed the paper and rose to his seat.

"I need to talk to his majesty."

He started to head out of the office when he heard what Basen had said.

"Yeah, have fun talking to your precious Emperor hyung-nim~."

Basen said in a very teasing tone. Cale felt disgusted because his brother was teasing him that Basen had never done that to him before. He opened the door and headed out.

'What's wrong with him?'

Cale just brushed it off. After all, he thought that his younger brother was joking and wanted to play for a while because he's been busy at work.

On the other hand, in Basen's office. A video communication device was glowing, and Basen's assistant was a mage. He handed Basen the video communicating device that he had connected already.

"Good day to you, Your Majesty."

The person contacting Basen right now is none other than Alberu Crossman, the first Emperor of the Roan Empire.

"I did what you want me to do, Your Majesty, but shouldn't you pass the mission yourself to Hyung-nim next time, Your Majesty? I got a lot more things to do also I don't want to bother Hyung-nim as well."

Alberu, on the other line, was speechless because Basen had started to resemble Cale.

-".....My apologies Duke, as you know, I am also busy, and other than Cale, only you that I can contact in the Henistuse state."

-"Anyways, did Cale agree?"

Basen took a sigh because he still couldn't believe what he was seeing. This person, His Majesty Alberu Crossman, is known to be a rightful person and would do anything for the prosperity of the Roan Empire; even before that, the Roan Empire right now was still the Roan Kingdom. He looks at him with sparkling eyes every time he asks him about his hyung-nim.

'My goodness, what did hyung-nim do to him for him to be this way?'

Basen wanted to shake his head in disbelief but chose to hold it in as he didn't want to be disrespectful to the Emperor.

'Only Hyung-nim can do that.'

He looks at Alberu before answering.

"He said that he will contact you, Your Majesty."

At his answer, Alberu's heart is beating in excitement to see his precious dongsaeng for a long time.
