Chapter 19: What's going on?!(2)

"You...do you want to return to your original form?"
Inari asked with a teasing smile across her face.

Cale stares at this Inari person. He touches his ears and tails.

"It would be a lie if I didn't, right?"

Inari is slowly forming a smile on her lips.

"Then, how about we make a deal?"
She said as she reached her hand out to him.

As rude as it may seem, Cale looks at her offering hand, blankly.

"Why should I?"
Inari's lips twitch.

"Well, that way, you will be able to return to your human form faster."

Cale raises an eyebrow to her and sighs.
He scratches the back of his neck.

"Well, I don't think I can. Not until you release Rasheel-nim."
Cale puts an annoying look on his face.

Inari's forming lips returned to normal, and her face turned serious.

"My, my. Aren't quite a rude young man."
"Despite seeing me, a god, you still act arrogant."
She puts on a gentle, cunning smile, but her eyes tell differently.

It feels like it was empty, no emotions at all.

"Let's head down first."

They slowly descend to the ground. But Cale fell down instead.
As soon as his feet touched the ground, Cale slumped down to the ground.

"Cale?!"
"Young Master Cale?!"
"Human!"

The three of them quickly support him.

"Ah. My legs gave up."
He said calmly.

All of them sigh in relief.

They support Cale in standing up, and Eruhaben and Raon create a magic chair for him to sit on.

He sits down and looks at Inari.
"Well? What was the condition of the deal you mentioned?"
Cale said.

Inari sits down as well.

"Introduce me to your king."
Cale's eyebrows suddenly twitch. He glares at Inari before opening his mouth to speak.

"And why?"
His tone sounds ruder than before.

Inari's lips twitch again.

"Well, I need to talk to him."

"Talk? About what?"

"And why should I tell you?"

"As you know, I am the Emperor's sworn brother; it is only right for me to know your intentions on meeting my Hyung."
Cale sounded angry as he continued to glare at Inari.

Seeing how stubborn Cale is, she gives up and takes a sigh.

"I need to borrow something from him."
She said as she scratched the back of her neck.

Everyone needs clarification about what she means.

"What is it?"
And again, his tone is rude that it starts to anger Inari.

"Do you mind if you proper that tone of yours while talking to me?"
She said as she smiled angrily.

"Oh, sorry."

Cale replied. His face tells them that speaking politely to this person is annoying.

"As long as you let me meet him personally, I'll return you to your original form."

Despite Inari trying to convince him, all she got was a stare. 

The two of them stare at each other for the past 5 minutes.

Inari then flinches at Cale's sudden actions after having a staring contest with her.

She could see him taking out a communication device.

It is actually a communication and recording device.

Of course, she doesn't know, as it's pretty similar to a regular communication device.

"Raon, connect this to Hyung-nim."

Cale handed the device to Raon.

"Okay, Human!."

Raon exclaimed happily, and black mana started to flow around the device.

Slowly an image of a person appears.

A figure who has blonde hair and blue eyes appears.

-"Cale?"

"Hyung-nim, someone wants to meet you."

-"Meet me? Who is it?"

"You see...it's a god."

-"Huh?"

"A demi-god, to be exact."

'Huh?'

Alberu became confused at the voice who replied to him. It was a woman's voice.

'Who...?'
His mind is currently processing.

Then, the screen suddenly turns around. Alberu sees a woman with the same hair as Rosalyn and ears and tails similar to Cale.

All of a sudden, he hears a loud gasp.

"Huh?"
He also heard the confused voice of Cale.

"I heard the rumors, but!"
Inari's face goes delighted, and she comes closer to the screen.

"To think that he is this handsome!"
She exclaimed excitedly.

The people around her, including Cale, blink in confusion.

"HUH?!"They sounded so shocked.

Inari, on the other hand, glares at them.

"Why are you guys so shocked? Are you guys blind or something?"
She exclaims angrily.

"Do you guys not understand the beauty of this man?!"
She said as she pointed at Alberu.

Alberu, on the other side, his mind went blank as he looked at Inari in shock.

"What?"
It was the only this he could say.

Inari looks giddy as she looks at Alberu.
