Chapter 6: A sudden change(6)

Everyone stared at Cale for a while and nodded their heads in response. Cale proceeds to discuss his plan. He put the same map he showed to them the other day on the table and took out a bundle of papers. He then opened his mouth to speak.

"Okay, first we will investigate the surrounding area of the mountain before entering it. We need to figure out first the bewitching stuff and the fog."

Cale picked up a piece of paper with a drawing and showed it to everyone.

"This is Mt. Kitsune."

The mountain looks normal on the outside, but the inside is full of fog and an unknown source of energy; that said was why people get bewitched and forced to enter the mountain.

Cale then put another paper on top of it, and it was the picture of a fox person he showed to them the other day. Of course, Rosalyn had the same expression she showed the other day when Cale showed them the picture again. Cale glanced at her before turning his gaze away after confirming Rosalyn's face.

'Is it okay to bring Rosalyn along?'

Cale started to debate whether to bring her or not but decided to brush it off for now and wait for a perfect moment to ask about it.

-"Is there something wrong, Miss Rosalyn?"

Naturally, Alberu is here, talking through the video communication device. He needed to be here since he's the one that gave Cale this mission, and yes, he's wearing a flashy outfit; again.

Rosalyn opened her mouth to speak.

"It's nothing. Your Majesty"

Rosalyn looked away from the video communication device and patted the kitten's fur as if she were trying to forget about the question.

Cale ignored this scene happening in front of him and just continued speaking.

"Ahem. Tomorrow we will be leaving, so I want everyone to pack 'necessary' things for this mission as we don't know how long we will be away."

Cale phrases the word necessary since these people with him keep bringing unnecessary things every time they go on a simple trip or do a mission like this.

'I want to avoid causing a stir if possible. I don't want to fight with the Fox tribe; well, I was planning on messing with them a little bit but based on Eruhaben-nim and Rasheel-nim's statement and Rosalyn's expression, I change my mind.'

Cale decided to run if ever they met a member of the Fox tribe.

"If possible, Your Majesty."

Cale looks at the video communication device where Alberu's face is visible and starts to speak with seriousness visible on his face.

"Please send the dark elves if were in a pinch."

Cale's solemn tone shocked Alberu a bit, but he decided to think that Cale was serious with this mission he gave to him.

Alberu nodded his head in response, and Cale ended the meeting. Everyone left the room, and the video communication device was turned off, but someone stopped at the door.

"Hmm? What is it, Choi Han?"

Cale can see Choi Han's face with an expression he had never seen before. Choi Han looks back at Cale before shaking his head in response.

"Nothing Cale-nim."

Choi Han ultimately left the room with an uneasy feeling inside his heart. He touched it before shaking his head sideways again.

'It must be nothing, right? Yeah, nothing will happen, I'm sure of it.'

But even though he said that, the uneasiness wouldn't fade away. He then started to grab the heath of his sword and kept clicking. Choi Han slowly walks away from the room.
