Tumango-tango ako habang nakayuko sa mga inaayos kong gamit.
"You should have. Dapat ipakilala mo ako."
"Why?"
"Because that's what boyfriends do."
"So what kung di kita ipakilala? Will it matter?"
"Of course it will!"
Umikot sya sa kabila para makaharap ako. Pero pinagpatuloy ko parin ang ginagawa ko.
"Theo, you are my boyfriend. We are in a relationship. You are hurting my feelings dahil di pumapasok sa isip mo na i-introduce ako as your girlfriend."
"You mean companion."
"Companion o ano pa man yan di ba ganon narin yun?" lumapit sya at ipinulupot ang mga kamay sa braso ko at isinandal ang ulo. "I want you to treat me special, yung.. iba sa lahat ng babae that you've been with, yung ako till the end Theo."
"Will try." I said in my bored tone and without meaning to.
"Try? Bakit? All this time ba you don't feel anything o-or even just have a little glint of feeling for me!?... Alam mo Theo.." inihilamos nya ang kamay nya sakanyang mukha, kitang kita ang frustration sa kanya. "I am sick and tired of you making me feel neglected. We are not getting any further and I think we need to put a stop on this sh!t!"
She grabbed her hand carry bag and left the room.
Ako on the other hand, let her.
Di ko hinabol, coz' she needs her own space to think it all through. Women and their actions. They do things and didn't even care to think twice.
Kagaya nalang ni Pamela, ang nagwalk-out kanina nina lang. She said we've been together for so long. To tell you frankly we've been 'casual friends', we were introduced by a common friend and naging madalas nadin ang pagkikita during parties and events.
Palagi syang andyan kung nasan ako. Siya ang unang lumalapit at nagpapakita ng motibo. The gentleman that I am, gives her that contentment of being noticed. Wala sa bokabularyo ko ang namamahiya ng babae.
But I guess some of my actions are misunderstood. Eto nga at binibigyan na ng label ang pagiging 'casual friends' namin. Maybe because,.. she had given too much a friend should give. Kaya she is expecting too much in return.

Hindi ako player.. no!
Nainlove nadin naman ako. Had real girlfriends at niligawan ko. But then, everytime they ask me na ipakilala sa parents, have a closer bond with my sister, or when they talk about getting married.. anything about commitment. Napapaisip ako.
Kapag pinipicture-out ko ang sarili ko na ikakasal dun sa taong yun. Feeling ko.. kulang. Hindi pa sapat. Parang.. ang hirap i-explain.
Parang may isang puzzle piece na pilit mong inilalagay pero hindi akma.
Tapos yun, habang nagtatagal natatapos nalang yung relasyon sa mutual decision na maghiwalay. We remain as friends. (friends nga ba?)
Sabihin nalang natin na we see each other sometimes. hehe
So ngayon, asa bahay na ko. (bilis no!)
3 days ako with Pam sa Tagaytay. And unfortunately for her.. some did not quite gone right.

my phone rings...
"Yes Pam."
"Ah.. I forgot to bring my luggage, asa manila ka na?"
"Oo, dala ko ang luggage mo. Ihahatid ko nalang mamaya sayo."
"I'm sorry Theo, I was so preoccupied and.. so stupid. God just forget about what i've said earlier.. I must be tired and..uhm.. by the way, see you at Hugh's party this saturday. I'll wait for you there okay?"
"Ah yeah, sure."
"Okay bye, Love you!"
"Yeah, bye." I hung up.
I smilled at umiling-iling. See.
"Theodore, son. Saan ka galing?"
"Ah, Dad sa Tagaytay lang.. took a 2 days off from work. Sobrang stressed ako after that project with Mr. Mendez."
"So who's handling AMT while you're gone?"
"I left Rocco instructions till today. He's in charge. Dideretso na po ko dun, magbibihis lang ako."
"So.. who's with you nung nagtagaytay ka?"
He spoke with sarcasm. Knew me too well.
"some..friend?"
"You play around with girls too much, Theo. Di ka ba natatakot na magbackfire yan sayo?."
"Nah.. Dad hindi ako ganun, She initiated and I'm just trying to be nice."
"Whatever son, I'm just warning you.. anyway.. Ako na bahala sa AMT, may ipapagawa ako sayo. I'll assign you to take full charge in renovating our house sa province. Your mom wants to stay there for good so.. take it as your vacation. You deserve it."
"Thanks Dad."
"and Theo, pabati nadin ako kay tito Gener mo when you get there."
at bigla akong may naalala at naexcite sa paguwi ko ng probinsya.
"Sure dad."
