Well, That's not right

What are you? WHO are you?

Narrator following Sasha POV:

It was a fairly normal day other than the unusual rainy feel to the day. Sash was just checking up on his check points when he was sent a message from Grime. "Commander Sasha, there has been a report of unusual sounds around the walls of Wartwood. The farmers are frightened something may be trying to take down the wall. I ask that you come scouting with me tonight. -Grime"

"Crazy farmers, always thinking something is up." Sasha sighed and started to walk back to toad towers. He has been out training and walking and the last thing he wanted to do was count all night long. It didn't matter though, he had Joe who was still extremely good at flying. He walked down the dirt road polishing his swords when a little crow glided down from a tree to pick a worm right under his feet.


Sasha tripped over the crow, busting his ass and dropping his swords. He glared at the crow with a confused/frustrated expression. "Are birds really that stupid? I thought it was an expression." He brushed off his pants and grabbed his swords. When he arrived to. The stables captain grime was there waiting for him.


"SASHA! What in frogs name took you so long? I've been waiting for 22 minutes and 37 seconds" Grime shouted, jogging over to Sasha "Geez sorry grime I kinda got..your... did you just say 22 minutes and 37 seconds? Were you counting?" Sasha asked staring down at grime with a confused expression."Uhm, maybe. But that doesn't matter we really need to leave, so for barrels sake get on that flying death machine and lets go already"


                   ——Time skip to late afternoon——

Sasha's POV:


Me and grime kept waiting for this mystery creature to show up. Although it was dark I could tell that grime was a little tense. "Grime, are you okay? You seem a little, idk- tense?" I whisper next to Grime. He stares at me and whispers back "Well yes I'm a little tense, why is something trying to take down the town's wall? It's just strange. There is a entrance but its just sawing a the wall". I think about what he just said, and he is right. Why is something trying to break in through the wall? It's like the creature has never even been to Amphibia beforehand. Me and grime waited for a few more minutes when we started to hear a rustle under the tree we were hiding in. I got ready to draw my red sword and looked over the tree.


There was someone- er- something? Carrying a chipped dagger with it's hands. Grime and I waited for the thing to start cutting into the wall. It raised the dagger and started to chip away at the wall bit by bit. Grime went down the tree first, hiding behind it. I carefully skid down the tree with my sword in hand. The thing didn't even notice how close I was behind it.


I raised my red sword to the back of its head "Hands behind your back. Now" I say not wanting to be loud right outside the wall. "GAH- Geez you scared me" The thing set the dagger down "I promise I'm no threat, I really need to talk to some of the frogs behind this wall. This IS Wartwood, right?" The thing sits down and turns facing me, with their hood still on. "Hey! Your human? How'd you get here? And you look... Familiar" The thing meets my eyes. I can tell for sure she is human. But I still have no idea who she is.


"I got here from the music box. Who are you?" I ask calling grime over "GRIME? You're here too? Hows Sasha? What happened after the music box got destroyed??" The person moved their hood revealing they only had one arm, fluffy hair with leaves in it, and leaves in her hair. "..Anne?" I dropped my sword staring into those brown eyes I hadn't seen in 7 years.

                     Anne's POV:


"Anne?". I'm now fairly sure who this is. Sasha has changed so much now, to be fair we both have. "Sasha? SASHA!" I start to stand up and charge at sash, wrapping my arms around their torso. He got stiff and looked down at me, hugging me back "Anne how'd you even get here? I thought we destroyed the box for sure". "We did! well sort of. We only smashed the box and not the gems so I just had to find a replica, put it together, find terri again, and boom" I smiled up at sash. I missed him, a lot. "Granted it took more time to find a box then to do the other things but I'm here now". I felt sash squeeze me and put his face on top of my head "Everything has changed so much" He said pulling away and holding me by my shoulders "Anne, why didn't you just go to the front gate?" Sash asked me "Well I kinda didn't want anyone to know I was here yet. Then it would spread that there is another music box and who knows what that would do".


As Sasha and I are walking to the front gate a stare for awhile at him. He has changed so much, in a good way. I really did miss him, in a friendly way though. Even Marcy used to say Sash would look at me during rebellion meetings but I never believed them.


It was late when we got to the gate. Sasha and Grime helped me move through the town to the Plantars house without being noticed by Wally or Maddie. "You do know that the Plantars are asleep right? This is basically breaking into their house" Sasha looked at the house than back at me with a confused and tired expression. "Yes, I know that. I wasn't planning on being found this late though" I smile at Sasha and walk over to the barn with Bessie. I walk in and Bessie is sleeping but Micro Angelo(Who isn't "Micro" Anymore) is awake, probably from me opening the barn door. "So your plan is to hide out here like a creep until its morning and they go to do chores. And just hope they don't freak out?" "Yep sounds about right" I respond sitting on a pile of hay in the barn, motioning for Sash to come sit next to me.


          Sasha's POV:

Anne and I sat there with grime telling each other about what has happened the last 7 years. Anne has been traveling the world with her parents. She also got a new prosthetic arm made by the "IT gals" who ever they are. She tells me how everyone thought me and Marcy were dead or just abandoned everything, which was partially true. Me and Marcy decided to stay in Amphibia because it was just safer. Me and Grime told Anne about the ongoing fights and animals attacking towns and villages around Amphibia. We tell her how Beatrix and her toad army joined the toad towers and helped out while me and Grime were promoted to personal guards. "Wait WHAT? Marcy is the ruler of Amphibia now? I thought that lady Olivia or Yunan would be the rulers?" Anne asked in a very "Wow thats cool but what in the actual hell?" tone "Oh yeah, Those two couldn't really do it because they are both so used to their own jobs, and Marcy was the best at strategy and was able to do so much in a few months they all voted on Mar-Mar" Anne chuckled "Yeah Marbles was always better at that then us".


It was early morning before me,Grime,and Anne when they heard the door to the plantar's house finally open. Anne stood up first rushing towards the door. I grabbed her hand and held her back. Anne looked back at me and I let go " I'll go out first to tell them so you don't finally kill hop pop from a heart attack" I whisper hearing steps come closer. She nods and lets go of my hand with a shy smile. I step out onto the dirt road the plantar's have that goes out to the main road.

"IN FROGS NAME WHAT ARE YOU DOING IN OUR BARN SASHA ?!???" Polly screams and almost throws her water bucket at me. "SHHHHH! I'm trying to show you guys someone you haven't seen in FOREVER but hop pop needs to be out here too. And squeaky toy I guess" I whisper scream at Polly who has turned into a frog around sprigs height. She looks at me confused for a few minutes "Wait, whos in the barn?" She asks looking past me at the doors as grime walks out. "Oh no I just saw grime like yesterday-" I cut her off while she was practically screaming."No not Grime, Anne. She's back but you need to go.get.the.boys" She stares at me in disbelief.


"Anne? ANNE BOONCHUY? SHE'S BACK? SINCE WHEN? I NEED TO SEE HER" Polly drops her water pail spilling all the contents onto the dirt road and runs towards the barn doors busting them open, hitting anne in the face giving her a bloody nose. "ANNE!" "POLLY!" "OH GEEZ I'M SO SORRY" Polly notices Anne's nose bleeding. I go over with a piece of cloth and hand it to Anne, our hands brush and I swear I could see a slight blush on Annes face before the cloth covered her face. Polly is hugging Anne's legs and looking up at her "I'M.SO.SORRY" "It's okay Polly it was bound to happen" Anne smiles and picks Polly up Hugging her with her full arm.


"Now what is all the ruckus out her- POLLY WHO IS THAT?" Hop pop yells with Sprig right behind him. Sprig notices exactly who Anne is and starts to tear up jumping on to her hair "ANNE!ANNE!ANNE! YOU'RE BACK OH MY GOSH HOP POP ANNE IS BACK!" Sprig squishes Annes cheek and I start laughing because she looks like a fish. Hop pop walks over as fast as he can and stands next to me. "Are you uh- sure thats Anne? I thought she went home to earth" he looked mildly concerned "Yes I'm sure hop pop, go say hi to her freak" I laugh as he croaks at me and goes over to Anne. Grime steps close to my side and stares up at me "I think we found our monster"
