The Ace & The Queen of hearts

Chapter 1

Shit! Shit! Shitty shit shit!!! The thoughts processed through my head as I began to run for my life. The island I was currently at was supposed to be deserted but no it definitely wasn't. There were animals chasing me giant animals along with crazy villagers. I mean I understand why the animals were chasing me I basically almost killed and ate one of there own but I didn't do anything to them. I was getting closer to the edge of the island I looked back past my long blue hair and saw the animals and villagers right on my tail. Ughh. I saw my dolphin looking striker with a single sail in the distance of the.... cliff!!! Shit I was finally two steps away from the cliff and shouted as I jumped.

"MIZU MIZU SLIDE!" An ice slide began to form at my feet. I slid all the way down to my striker. I had eaten the MIZU MIZU No Mi fruit giving me the ice/water ability although I still had the weakness to water.

Damn it! I followed the log post to the next island. I soon arrived at a port. It was around sunset. I grabbed my small pack and tied my striker next to others on the port.

This island was obviously welcoming to pirates because they all lined up in the open on the port. I made my way to the closest pub hold my stomach as it growled. I was stared at a lot but I ignored it being so used to it. My hair in a pony tail and my blue skirt swaying in the mild wind. As I wore a strapless bando along with a jean vest. the town lights began to light up and I found the first pub and walked in.

A tomato came flying at my face I gently moved and it flew out the door. I glared at the crowd infront of me. They were all fighting. A nasty old fat drunk came up to me.

"Hehhh what's a pretty girl like you doing in a bar like this??? Well I'll protect you!" His disgusting voice rang and I just stood at the door he began to reach out at me and that's when I grabbed his hand and spun him in the air infront of me and tossed him across the room. Then the room went silent. They all looked from the Percy old man to me.

"Shit captain!!! You bitch you'll pay for messing with the gator pirates!!" My face emotionless the male headed towards me along with other men I assumed to be apart of his crew. I sighed. This was a waste of time.

Immediately I froze all of the men in ice sculptures. I walked past them and sat at the bar. the bartender was a old man. I smiled at him and he smiled back. The rest of the crew seemed to leave taking there sculpture mates with them and the rest of the bar settled down.

"What can I get you miss.."

"Melody!" I said he smiled.

"Gary nice to meet ya Miss Melody now what can I get ya on the house." he said and my smile brightened.

"Food anything you got im starving!!" I said.

Gary chuckled and went to the back of the kitchen. I scanned the room a bit earning me many glares stares and comments from everyone. My eyes landed on a mysterious figure at the end of the bar. They were eating meat while.....sleeping. I laughed and scooted down. I watched closely as the food hung down his mouth and you could hear gentle snores. I took a closer look at the man. He had black hair a ugly orange hat on his head a red beaded necklace and freckles on his face. I smiled he was kind of cute. I saw something on his back and looked closely. It was a Jolly Roger a very recognizable one to. This Jolly Roger had a purple color with a white beard. He was a White Beard Pirate. I gasped.

Gary came back out with a fresh plate of meat which I began to drool at and my stomach growled he placed it infront of me.

"Here you go kiddo." Gary said and I nodded I was about to dig in when I realized someone taking meat after meat off my plate. I followed the hand to the boy next to me. He kept stuffing his face with his and my food. He didn't even look at me. I growled.

"What THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOUR DOING!" I said as I punched him and he went flying into the wall. As if he was finally aware of me and out of his food eating daze he looked at me shocked. Then anger flashed through his face. I just began to eat and watch him. He stood up.

"OY WHAT THE HELL YOU TOUCHIN MY FOOD FOR HUH!" He yelled at me and walked up snatching my meat away.i looked at him dumbfounded.

"GIVE.IT.BACK." I said slowly and under clench teeth. He just stood infront of me and then

"DONT!" I said but it was to late he stuck it down his throat and pulled the bone out.

"BASTARD!!!" I yelled and dove after him. I tackled him to the floor and began pinching and stretching his face.he repeated the action on me and we began rolling on the floor. We began to bump into people which cause another bar fight.

"THATS ENOUGH!!!" I yelled and slammed a fist in his direction but failed as he did the same both our fist connected with the others face. we both went flying in opposite directions and breaking two walls. I got up and patted off my self. I rubbed my head. Then walked towards my bag. I grabbed it and muttered an apology to Gary who just scowled me. I nodded and left the bar. Damn bastard. He was just getting up and didn't even glance towards me.

"Sooooo not cute." I muttered and began to roam the city again.

My stomach was growling but I didn't really want to go to anymore bars. I decided to just find a hotel and get some sleep.

Ace POV

"Damn" I said as I rubbed my head and sat back at the bar.

"Hey kid you know you have to pay up for the damage you caused!!!" The bartender yelled at me.

"What??!! You didn't make that girl pay?!!" I yelled at him.

"Because she wasn't at fault KID!!!" He yelled back. I dug into my ear pretty sure my ear drum just burst and totally annoyed with this guy.

"It was her fault." I muttered and he coughed. I picked my things up and thanked him for the meal. The old man began yelling after me saying I needed to pay. I just ignored this and kept walking.

I headed to the hotel that Marco and Thatch told me they be waiting at. I rubbed my jaw. That damn girl could pack a punch! I wonder what crew she's apart of.
