The Ace & The Queen of hearts

Chapter 21

Melody POV

I blushed as bay slammed the door.

"Jeez I feel like it's been forever since I saw you because of him!!" She said and I laughed and she did to.

"What's up?" I asked and she gaped her mouth at me. "What?" I questioned

"Don't tell me you forgot!!!" She said and I just shrugged. "What is that boy doing to my best friend!" She yelled and I laughed.

"Isn't he great?!" I said and she laughed.

"Not as great as the man I'm marrying tomorrow!" She practically yelled and it finally clicked.

"Oh the reception and the bachelorette party!" I said

I stood up and I went in my closet, grabbed my black skin tight cocktail dress and some black heels. I threw on my outfit while bay threw on her black skin tight short dress with flats. When I was done bay styled my hair and I did my make up and bay did the same. This time when we dressed up I felt a little more confident.

We opened the door and two handsome men were waiting outside.

I looked at ace and he was wearing black slacks with a white button up shirt and dress shoes. I blushed at him.

"you look incredible." Ace whispered into my ear making me blush all over.

"Thank you...." I shyly replied. Only he can make my heart flutter with a few compliments.

We all had a small chat on our way to the dinning hall where we are going to have the rehearsal dinner. Ace and I were holding hands behind Bay and Marco. But when we got to the door we went in first so the happy couple could have there one of many moments this weekend. Ace and I took our seat on the bridesmaids side and groomsmen side. Every one was dressed nice for a nice romantic night. We saw a lot of couples on the ship. Everyone was happy. We had dinner and then were asked to go to our separate parties. I was so ready to surprise bay for her bachelorette party.

I kissed ace on the cheek.

"Do you want me to come see you tonight Mel?" Ace asked with concern and kindness in his voice. I smiled at him and he blushed.

"Definitely." I kissed him one more time and then was pulled away by the other girls.

~The bachelorette party

The girls got together and decided to have Bays party on the top deck. Where we set up a trampoline and there was music and liquor. We had tiki torches lit so we could see and small gifts just for her on the side.

When bay got to the main deck she bursted into tears and smiles at all the decorations and the cake.

These are the moments I'll always cherish. I thought as I watched over everyone.

"Mel come on I'm opening the small gifts!" Bay yelled from the center of the circle at me. I smiled and waved that I was coming. Then I sensed it. It made me stop dead in my tracks. Eyes. I felt them on my back watching my every move.

'Remain calm Mel.' I thought to my self. Then I relaxed and took a sip of my wine.  The feeling of eyes on me didn't go away but the dark aura did thankfully. I immediately joined the group but didn't tell anyone about the dark presence.

Bay pulled out a skimpy bikini that was purple. She looked at me and I gave a mischievous smile.

"Really Mel? What beach would I wear this too?!" Bay jokingly said.

"I don't know I just want to see my godchild soon!" I jokingly said but then bay stood quiet. All the girls stopped laughing and I gave the 'oh shit' face. Bay blushed and rubbed her stomach.

"Oh my pirate King!" I said and hugged her. "Bay that's fantastic!" All the girls giggled and smiled and chatted.

"Thank you." Bay said calmly. I smiled at her and then frowned.

"Does Marco know?" I asked and she smiled.

"Yeah he does and at first he didn't except it. Two months ago when I told him I was a month late he just laughed and brushed it off." Bay looked like she was on the verge of tears. "I thought he was going to call off the wedding he even ignored me for two weeks. Then one day he asked me if I was still late on my period and I told him yes. He kissed me and embraced me and told me he would love the baby as much as he loves me." Bay smiled and everyone awed in approval. I hugged her and we both chuckled.

That was the best moment of the night I thought and for the rest of the night the girls just chitchatted and drank beer except for bay she had some milk.

When it started to get late the girls began to help me clean up and bay tried to help but we shooed her away and off to bed. I cleaned up and decided to head to my room.

I changed out of my clothes and made my way to my bed until I heard a knock at my door. Not knowing that opening my door was the biggest mistake I made that night.
