Chapter 5

Ace POV

"Ace we've reached the next island!" Marco barged into my room annoucing. I jumped up and smiled at him.

"Ohh are you excited to go find your girlfriend!" He said and I brushed past him glaring.

"It's not like that!!" I said. I made my way to the main deck. I stood infront of pops. He wished me safe return. I just nodded. Marco Thatch Whitey Bay and I all made our way to our strikers.

"Why are you coming?" I asked bay.

"Just coming for a little feminine touch. You boys can be rough and this requires delicate touch." she replied as we zoomed towards the island.

"Your just as rough maybe more" I scuffed ad spat out. She just snarled at me I laughed and so did Marco but Bay shot him a glare and he shut up.

We made it to the island. We docked our skiffs away from the main entrance. Since there were several marine ships there waiting. we put cloaks on and walked through town trying to blend in with the crowd.

There was no sign of her any where. This is becoming a pain in the ass. I looked towards the sky following a screeching noise. It was a punch of pelican messengers. They began to drop tons of flyers and news papers. I haven't seen so many before. I followed the last pelican with my eyes I held one sheet left it roamed above the forest and at a good distance away he dropped the paper. I smirked. this girl was smart. I thought.

"Damn This girl bounty went up." Marco said I just stared at him.He showed me the wanted paper

I smirked and then bay showed me the newspaper it had the last island incident on the front cover. the caption made me chuckle a bit.

"QUEEN OF HEARTS FREEZE LIVE STRUCK PIRATES!"

I think we all began to laugh at the header. We stopped laughing when we heard marines shouting orders. If you listen closely you could hear them saying "Find her this is the island she should be on." Then a ruckus of marines began to run around.

I sighed and tapped the others to follow me towards the forest.

Melody POV

I woke up at the smack in the face with a newspaper. I sat up and rubbed my head. then I looked down towards the paper. I gasped and smiled. I read the headline and laughed. boy was I making it big. I thought back to my dream and a tear began to well up in my eyes. I wiped it away and I looked around the sun was beginning to set I grabbed my bag and looked at my log post. it wasn't set yet so I decided to go into town. I first threw on a pair of sunglasses. I got up and heard footsteps coming towards me. I glared and climbed up a tree closest to me. I stood still an stared down at the opening below me. A few minutes later figures began to form underneath me. I stood still and listened to them.

"I swear I thought she be here!!" A familiar voice said.

"Well she's not way to go idiot." another familiar voice said.

"Your the idiot idiot!" The annoyingly familiar voice said. The figures began to butt heads. Then a female voice appeared.

"Hold on this fire is its still warm.... who ever was here isn't far." the female said I scowled mother nature. Then suddenly as if Mother Nature heard me scowled her. The tree branch began to crack. I began to loose balance.

SHIT!!! I thought as trying to gain my balance but my foot slipped I was falling down. The figures all looked up I quickly aimed for the most annoying ones head. my foot connected to there face and I pushed off of it and gracefully landed in the middle of everyone. I watched as ace sat up with a foot print on his face glaring at me. I smiled.

"Yo." I said to him. he got up and stomped towards me grabbing my shirt collar. I didn't like the gesture.

"What the hell you do that for??!!" He yelled in my face. I glared at him and then held the hand gripping my shirt. I leaned back and slammed my forehead onto his. I was still hold his hand so I pulled him in close just to give him a right hook to the center of his face. I heard gasps and laughs from around us. ace went flying backwards. I didn't waste anytime to kick Marco in the stomach and then approach the unknown man and women. They held up there hands and took a step back. I smiled and made a run for the town. I heard them yell or at least Ace yell.

"DAMN IT GET HER!!" I laughed and picked up the speed making it to the town in about ten minutes. I stopped in an alley and peaked out. There were marines everywhere.

"Damn" I whispered to myself. I put my hood up and clenched my back pack. I made my way through the crowd trying to find my way towards where I tied up my striker. That's when I felt a hand on my arm. I spun around and gulped as I looked into a soldiers eyes.

"I thought so" the soldier said. "FIORA D MELODY YOU ARE UNDER ARREST!!" I flinched as the soldier shouted those words and then we began to be crowded by soldiers. I sighed I didn't like hurting marines, but u guess I didn't have a choice.

"You shouldn't have done that!" I stated to the soldier lifting him up and slamming him into the ground. I took my shades off and stared at the crowd in front of me. there was at least over two hundred soldiers.

Then out of nowhere a arm grabbed me. I looked to see Marco. and then Ace infront of me.

"White beard Pirates!" Yelled a soldier then some soldiers took a step back. I looked at ace. His face was hidden behind his hat but his body tensed. I gulped. Then flames began to escape his finger tips.

"Men capture them!" There commander yelled and Ace shot flames from under his feet straight at the soldiers around us. He turned towards me. I glared at him. He smirked and what I didn't suspect was him to nail me hard in the stomach. I coughed up some blood and began to slip out of consciousness.

"Damn you...." I said to him as I slipped away.
