The Ace & The Queen of hearts

Chapter 9

Melody POV

We made it to the deck and for the first time since I've been here it was empty. There was a red carpet and lights leading down the ship and towards the island. I looked at the island and gazed in amazement at the huge white tent and the lights that lit almost the hole island. I could see ships circling the island for miles. Laughter and cheers could be heard coming from the tent. I smiled and was pulled by Bay as we giggled and made our way down the ship towards the tent.

We were talking and walking. We were a little late okay we were a lot late. everyone was already seated. When we walked into the main entrance before us was over a thousand of tables with over thousands of people. They all turned their heads to look at bay and I. There was a huge dance floor in the middle of all the tables. Then at the center of the room was a large long table where White Beard sat with all the commanders. They faced us as we faced them. It was dead silent and a bit over whelming.

"Late as always I see my daughter Bay." White Beard said with a big smile and chuckle. Then laugh began to fill the room.

"Fashionably late!" Bay said very loud and proud.

"Come now my girls sit!" White beard said. I saw that beside him on each side was ace and marco. On Marco side two empty seats were next to him. I glanced at Bay who was already half way to her seat. I was still frozen at the door. Then before all eyes could catch me I hurried to catch up with Bay and we took our seats.

"Thank you everyone for coming! On this day that the White Beard Pirates were born. Also on my birthday. I want everyone to enjoy tonight and celebrate to your hearts content. I wouldn't want anything else then to have a good time with my family! Cheers!!" White beard said and everyone cheered and the music started and the food was served.

There was laughter chatter and noise all over. Everyone was having fun. I was having fun Marco and bay made sure of that.

"Hey let's dance!" Bay stood up and took my hand I looked at her nervous.

"But no ones dancing!" I said and she giggled.

"Fine I'll go by myself." Bay walked to the middle of the floor I watched along with everyone else. Then someone else walked onto the floor. Whistles began to float through the room and the blonde hairs man took his jacket off and stood there in dress pants and a white button up shirt. He did a little nod towards the musicians and they began to play a rough but alluring melody. They began to dance together in this hot and beautiful dance. it looked like the salsa but it looked like a waltz. There was no name to describe their dance besides hot. When the music finished applauds soared through the room. I stood up and clapped along with everyone else. Then people made there way to the dance floor.i was about to sit back down when a hand grabbed mine. I looked to fined a well dressed Ace. His hair was slick and he had a nice white button shirt with a red bow tie on. I blushed a bit. He pulled me towards the dance floor

"Let's dance!" He shouted. I wanted to refuse but then I noticed his grin. I just went with the flow on this one. we danced to our hearts content on the floor.

After many songs later a circus came out of nowhere and the dance floor cleared. They began to perform. there were acrobatic performance and sword performance. they even had clowns and animals performing. I loved the whit horses!!!

Then when they cleared they left one man in the middle of the floor. He made eye contact with me and then gave me the signature smirk of his. I smiled back at ace. He winked at me throwing his shirt off and then lit his finger.

"Yay this is one of favorites!" Bay yelped into my ear. I didn't take my eyes off him.

The little flame began to spin around him and then the flames changed into a dragon and danced around the room. It came back towards him and changed form again and this time it was a lion. the lion stalked Ace and then it pounced on him. Gasps ran through the room and then at the last minute the lion jumped into a flame wall. Then Ace began to shoot little fire balls in the Air that bursted into fireworks. Then the fire in the air began to spell out his name. He smirked as fa girls began to crowd the outskirts of the floor. He look happy and overly confident. It was annoying.

I shot a small icy flare in the air. No one noticed until it went off and made an explosion louder and Bigger than all of aces combined. Left in the air was my name in icy blue flame. I smiled and put my chin in my hand as Ace glared at me. I heard laughs from all the commanders as everyone began to look my way.

"So do you think you can do better?" Ace announced loudly at me. I stood up and walked to the floor. I walked right infront of him.

"Yea yea I do!" I said loud and proudly. He raised an eyebrow at me and I giggled and spun away from him and then pointed a finger towards the sky. There was another small flare and big explosion but this time Tons of snowflakes filled the air from the burst. I scoped some of them up with the twirl of my finger and then created an icy blue flame bunny and it began to bounce around the room and every spot it bounced it left small snow flakes. I smiled as I morphed the bunny into a dragon and I let it go after ace but he easily put a fire wall up and burned it out. There were tons of laughs and I was pouring but continued. I twirled my finger and created a white tiger similar to aces. Ace mimicked this and brought back his. They stalked eachother and began to chase one another in the air through out the room and when they collided they bursted into a red and blue explosion. Our names were left.

'Melody & Ace' it said. I threw my finger in the air and shot up a flare that created a blue heart above our names. Ace shot up a flare that formed as an arrow and shot through the heart and stayed there. I blushed as applauds erupted the room. I totally forgot they were there the people I mean. this caused me to blush It felt like me and ace were the only people alive. I bowed and ran back to the table to be pulled into a hug from bay.

"That was so amazing!!!" She said. I smiled at her she was a little flushed from obviously drinking.

"Thank you..." I said I glanced towards ace he was bombarded with fan girls on the floor. They looked a little mad but happy to. I just smiled.

The rest of the night was filled with a lot of music laughing dancing games and drinking.

Bay and I got into this battle of who could drink more and boy was that a bad idea......
