I'd be lying if I said I wasn't dreading my meeting with Professor Jaeger. While I'm excited to start working on my thesis, I was mortified over the fact that he saw me prancing around in a tiny cowgirl uniform.

Sighing, I made my way to the classroom and sat in my usual spot next to Historia. Giving her a small smile, I waited until class started. It was a long lecture hall with him speaking for the majority of the time, with occasional comments and questions from Mikasa of course.

I didn't notice but I had lost focus halfway through the lecture and only realized it was over once everyone started to pack their bags and walk out.

Looking over at Historia, she gave me an encouraging thumbs-up as she left the classroom. Taking a deep breath, I grabbed my things and made my way over to Professor Jaeger.

"Hello, sir." I said as I placed my bag down on the floor next to the desk in front of his.

"Ms. Harmon is nice to see you again." His worst mortified me as I thought back to our encounter on Saturday. I'm guessing he picked up on my expression as he quickly explained himself.

"I mean nice to see you since our last class, not what happened on Saturday. I apologize, let's start over." Clearing his throat and took a deep breath before speaking once more.

"So what do you have for your thesis idea?" He asked which made me forget the awkward tension a few moments ago.

I thoroughly explained to him that I wanted to do research on whether or not humans were products of their environment. It would include a few experiments on different test subjects in various areas to see any correlation.

After a few moments of silence, I could see him thinking before he broke out into a smile. "I love it. It's a great idea." A wave of relief washed over me as I could finally breathe again.

"Now as I said before there are a few requirements you need and one of them is that we need to have a supervised amount of hours for this experiment. So you're going to be spending a lot of time with me." He said as he looked me in the eyes making intense eye contact.

"Yes of course." I said looking away unable to keep it. I was still a bit uncomfortable from the night before and it was gonna be hard to work if things stayed like this.

"I can sense you're still bothered by the previous night. As your professor, I only want you to ever feel comfortable with me so how about we ask each other a few questions so we can get to know one another better." He suggested as he pulled a chair in front of the desk I was sitting in.

"O-Okay, we can do that." Stuttering over my words, I realized how close we were to each other, the smell of his cologne clouding my senses once again.

"I'll start, why did you choose to major in biology?" He asked.

"Well, I've always been good at it in high school and science has always been interesting to me so it really seemed like a no-brainer to be completely honest with you." I didn't have a clear answer as to why I chose biology, I've just always liked it for some reason.

"Fair enough, I couldn't tell you why I chose biology when I was in college either." He laughed as he adjusted himself in the seat making himself more comfortable.

"If you don't mind me asking sir, how old are you?" I knew it was a personal question but I was really curious.

"This is really showing my age." Laughing he sighed and moved the strands of hair out of his face. "I'm 34, I'll be 35 in December.

So he's 14 years older than me, that's not extremely horrible.

"That's not old, you're still in your prime years!" I said playfully causing a slight laugh from him.

"That's what I thought until I got around you guys and I heard 19-year-olds talk about how 25 is considered old now." He said dumbfounded as he shook his head in disbelief.

For this to be a meeting about my thesis, we talked about everything else except that. It was nice though, I felt as if I got to know him better and it honestly made things less weird between us. It wasn't until I checked the time that I realized it was time for me to go.

"Shit, I have to go it's getting late and I have work tomorrow." I said as I got up and quickly grabbed my bag.

"Wow, time must have slipped by just sitting here." He said as he got up stretching. "It was nice to get to know you." He said as he placed a hand on my shoulder. My cheeks grew red as I looked up at him. Those green eyes stared right back at me.

Before I could answer, the sound of the door opening caused him to immediately drop his hand and make space between the two of us.

"Sorry I didn't think anyone was in here, forgot my sweater," Mikasa said as she looked at the two of us and went to grab her sweater.

"Well thank you for the advice on my thesis Professor Jaeger, see you in class on Thursday," I said as I quickly walked out of the room and made a bee-line to the bathroom.

Going over to the sink, I splashed cold water onto my face trying to get my mind out of the gutter. He's your teacher, what are you thinking?

Grabbing a paper towel I patted my face dry unable to see who walked into the bathroom.

Unfortunately to my surprise, it was Mikasa. As I tried to leave, she blocked my way.

"Excuse me." I said as I tried to get around her but couldn't. "Is there a problem?"

"Actually now that you ask, yes there is. Whatever delusional thoughts you may have in your head about Eren, you need to get rid of them." She said as she inches closer to me getting in my face.

"Okay first of all, back up." I said as I softly pushed her away from me. "And second of all, who the hell is Eren?" I don't know why that name sounded so familiar.

"Professor Jaeger. You may have your little play dates with him for that thesis of yours, but he's mine." She said causing me to roll my eyes at her.

"He's our teacher, not some random guy in our class. Why would I even think about him in that way?" I said defensively but deep down she had a reason for concern.

"Good. Then I guess we don't have a problem after all. As long as you stay in your place." Smiling, she walked out the door leaving me alone in the bathroom.

Leaning against the sink, I sighed as I placed my face into my palm.
