Ronnie's P.O.V
My hand ran lightly along the new robots we had created for the new army. All the workers stood off to the side, watching me examine their work. "I'm impressed" I approved just as Loki came rushing in from his room. He looked a little paler than usual but I brushed it off.
"Adrienne!" He called, as he quicker his pace even more.
"I'm a little busy!" I called back as I walked over to the computer to study all the coding for the robots. Impressed I nodded, but not before pointing to the computer and saying "I want them faster, better reflexes." Almost instantly two people jumped onto the computer to change the reflexes.
"But Darling I have something-"
"Not now Loki! I'm a little busy trying to sort everything out, ready for the enemies arrival." I hissed back as I continued my round. The God stayed silent for a while longer as more changes were made to our plans and weapons. It was only when I was alone he tried again.
"Adrienne please listen-" He was cut off again but by some one yelling;
"Sir! Madam! There are two flying objects making their way towards us. One of them the Iron Man suit, the other a jet!"
"Right everyone I want these robots set up and put into the mansion. Prepare for transportation!" I yelled, with a clap of my hands.
"Darling I really must-"
"Can't it wait till after we succeed, after the plan works?" I questioned, looking up to glare at the dark haired God.
"I'm not sure if you would like me to keep the information from you for much longer." Loki replied, following me as I made my way to the van that was going to be transporting us to the mansion. My eyes rolled as the two of us climbed in and got comfy.
"Loki I'm sure a little bit of closed of information will be fine until we win this battle."
"It's about your family." My eyes immediately met his at his mention of my family.
"What about them?" I demanded as we began to move. Loki suddenly became shy, avoiding my eye contact for a while.
"An enemy of the Avengers discovered your ability and thought it a good idea to make you weak." He began, still not looking at me. "To do this they took the advantage of your unprotected family and decided to end their lives."
"Family as in who?" I demanded, my eyes narrowing.
"Your Mother, three brothers, Father and his 'girlfriend'." He held his fingers up for the word girlfriend, still not knowing what the term meant. My eyes widened slightly but I kept my composure, I wasn't prepared to cry. Not when we were about to launch ourselves into battle.
"Thank you for informing me but that doesn't change our plans. We go ahead, mourning can wait." Loki nodded solemnly and I looked away from him. They were the few people I didn't want involved in something lie, this, but it was too late to go back now.
