Chapter 15: Damaged

Ronnie's P.O.V

Deanna screamed at Beth just as a gun shot sounded. Turning my head I saw Beth and De on the floor. "What was that?!" I asked pulling them both up. We turned to run again when we slammed into something like a brick wall. Or rather that's definitely what it felt like.

I stumbled back slightly, Beth stood her ground and De tripped to the floor. Looking up I groaned. Loki was standing in front of me, Captain Puerto Rico in front of Beth and Hawkeye in front of De. Standing behind me was Thor, Ironman behind Beth and Black Widow behind Deanna.

"That fucking hurt Hawk!" De whined from the floor, she was clutching her nose and blood was slowly pouring down.

"Oh get over yourself" Ironman grunted. Beth instantly turned round and punched him in the face sending him back a few feet. Quickly I cast a spell sending Thor and Loki flying away from me as Captain took on Beth. Thor came back at me quickly just as I saw De start on both assassins.

Thor sent his hammer towards me but I dropped to the floor and rolled away from him before standing up and punching him hard. He stumbled but came back at me stronger. While fighting him I sensed Loki behind me so I ducked and let the two 'brothers' punch each other.

They both recovered quickly but not quick enough. I had already wrapped the two of them in a spell to restrict their movements and powers. "Let us go mortal!" Loki hissed.

"You kneel to me peasant!" I resort forcing both Demi-Gods to their knees. As I looked up I saw Beth throw Ironman into Captain making me laugh. Beth smiled lightly and checked the two of them. "Knocked out" She grinned. I shook my head and looked towards where De was fighting.

Black Widow was on the curb only breathing and De was taking on the Hawk. Seconds later she slammed her bow into his head and he crumbled to the floor. The hulk seemed to have disappeared, most likely to turn back human. "Let's go quick" De said "It's only the Gods who are awake"

With that we left them all on the streets. "Get back here and untie us!" Loki yelled after us.

"Why must you do this?" Thor's voice soon followed. Non of us turned round, we quickly headed back to the flat and collapsed onto the sofa. Each one of us exhausted from the fight. "Shit did we just take on and defeat the Avengers?" Beth questioned after a minuet, sitting bolt up right.

"Yeah we did" I grinned. De smiled and rolled off the sofa.

"I'm gonna go get changed" She mumbled before walking down the corridor and towards her room.

"Well that was fun"

"Of course it was to you Ronnie."

"Come on admit it, it was quite fun taking on and beating the worlds 'best superheroes'."

"Best? I always like the fantastic four"

I chuckled, of course, being awkward. After a moment De came back dressed in black jeans, black top, white low top converse and her grey leather jacket. "I'm going to the cafe down the street, 'someone' has asked to meet up" She said before waving and walking out the door.

"Someone?" Beth questioned.

"The ex, you know still trying to get with her again" I replied.

"Why would she go and see him?" Beth questioned. I rolled my eyes.

"Put him in his place most likely."
