The New Avengers

Prologue

All the Avengers and Loki sat in a conference room on one of the many levels at Stark tower. Director Fury and his intern Jamelah were on their way to deliver a very important mission to the group of seven people. Jamelah hadn't been an inter for long but she was taking after the Director quickly.

After an hour of waiting for the Director and his intern the door to the conference room flew open. Director Nick Fury and his inter Jamelah Ingly hurried inside, the door closing behind them. Everyone dissolved out of their small talk and looked up to the two new entries to the room.

Jamelah was dressed in a black long sleeve top, black leather jacket, black trousers, black boots and an eye patch to match Fury's. She had mid back dark red hair that flew freely behind her. Her skin tone was lighter than Fury's but still tanned. In hight she reached his shoulders.

"We need your help" Fury stated as Jamelah handed out a file to each person around the table. "These three girls have shown extraordinary talents and skills. They have came to our attention in various ways but they are all connected. Friends in fact, from England.

"Each is special in her own way. Bethany Lloyd, the first girl in your file. Shows all the traits that Steve does, strong, fast, healing quickly and is quite flexible. However no super serum was injected into her system, all completely herself. Quite a level headed girl our sources say. School sports day brought her up on the radar.

"Adrienne Horton, the next girl in the file. Powers, much like Loki's. Teleportation, cloning of herself, the list continues. Quite the trickster and she was born with theses powers. She was born here on Earth so has no Asgardian connections. A prankster, one who isn't afraid to break rules to have fun. Cloned herself to confuse school teachers.

"Deanna Chalmers, the final girl out of the three. Exceptionally skilled in hands to hand combat and if a bow and arrow is placed in her hands you can say hello to an arrow somewhere on your body. Taught herself according to sources, quite feisty. Beat up a kid at her school for picking on a younger kid and shot an arrow, just missing her teachers head.

"Each one blends into the crowd, the don't seem different. They aren't extremely dangerous but we believe we haven't see the full extent of their abilities. They know they are different but do not see the harm in their abilities. I want the seven of you to go to England and bring them back for training."

Everyone paused and scanned the files. "So you want us to bring three teenage girls in?" Steve asked looking up at the Director and his intern. Fury nodded but didn't utter a word. "Where are they now?" The Captain asked.

"Currently at college but Bethany is taking an online uni course in science, she's very good in that too." Jamelah said with a very faint smile.

"So we're all off to England?" Bruce questioned.

"Off to England" Fury nodded.
