Deanna's P.O.V
My eyelids flicked open when I felt someone place thee hand gently on my forehead. I instantly knew it was Bruce so I smiled up brightly at him. When he noticed I was awake he smiled back and helped me sit up. Looking around I noticed Beth still sleeping on the other bed.
"Hi Bruce." I murmured with a yawn.
"Hello Deanna." He replied as he checked my vitals and what not. "You should be okay now, so you're free to go."
"Thank you" I nodded, giving him a quick hug before jumping off the bed and walking out of the lab. I wandered down the halls until I reached the main living room. No one was there except Pepper, who was sitting reading a magazine. Her feet were tucked under her and her heels on the floor beside the sofa.
Beth and I hadn't really spoken to Pepper much, just a few things here and there with girly things or her complaining about all the guys in the tower. I stumbled slightly as I made my way over to the sofa and sat down beside the strawberry blonde woman. She glanced up and smiled.
"How are you feeling?" She asked gently as she p,aced the magazine on the arm of the sofa.
"I've been better" Was my half-hearted reply. "My shoulder still kills."
"Well she did hit you in the shoulder." Pepper remained me. Rolling my eyes I crossed my legs under me and turned to face the woman next to me. She was smiling kindly at me, making me smile in return, "Thanks for reminding me Pepper." I said with a lopsided smile.
"I'm sorry sweetheart but you're complaining about your shoulder and that's were you were hit."
"Okay I'm not Tony, I don't complain that much." I groaned. Pepper giggled lightly making me giggle too.
"So, how long did Bruce say it would be till you could start training again?" Pepper questioned. Shrugging idly I answered;
"He didn't, I don't think he's dealt with something like this before. We just have to wait until my symptoms stop and until I feel fine I guess."
"How's Beth?"
"Sleeping. I guess the blood lose really did knock her dizzy."
"She should be okay." Pepper reassured me.
"I'm sure she will, Banner is one of the best Doctors I've ever known." I replied ginning slightly.
"One of the best? Who's the others?" Bruce's voice drifted from the door, making me jump slightly.
"Doctor Who." I replied after recovering "And Doctor Watson from Sherlock. But you're still the best!" Bruce looked at me and hummed slightly before disappearing just as quick as he appeared. "Are all the guys in this tower magic?" I asked aloud.
"Yes, yes they are." Pepper replied making us both laugh once again. "Wanna watch a movie while we wait for Beth to wake up?"
"Yes!" I exclaimed "Let's watch Real Steel!"
"What's that about?"
"Fighting robots!" I grinned before tell J.A.R.V.I.S to play the film.
