Last Night at Bella's Apartment

***Bella's POV***

I was sitting on the couch silently reading a magazine when the door swung open. I just about had a heart attack until I saw Jake in the doorway. However, the feeling of panic came back as I watched him storm straight toward me in pure rage.

"Jake," I put my hand on his shoulder, stopping his overthinking. "You're stressed. You need to calm down and ease your mind." My hand drifted to the back of his neck and I began to rub it gently. My hand scratched from his shoulder up his neck, soothing his racing mind. He hummed and sighed as he expelled his tension.

Suddenly I stopped to take off his belt and undo his zipper. I got up and stood in front of him, amusedly watching his look of uncertainty and wonder. Without saying anything, I pulled his pants down and flung them across the room. Kneeling on the floor, I crawled up to Jake and startled him as I spread his legs apart.

"Relax!" I chuckled. Placing my palm on his chest to push him back on the couch. "I want to make you feel good." Jake settled back into the couch as my hand drifted down his torso. Jake had fallen asleep already, poor thing was probably exhausted from the long week with Josh and the long night with me. I held him tightly in my arms, feeling as though I was protecting him from any nightmares that dare plague his mind. This did not work.
