This is just a flashback to how hiccup got into a person

horrible memory

Hiccup was tossed back into his cell as he remember how he got into this mess to begin with.

Flashback

Hiccup and toothless we're both laying side by side together, it was a very beautiful day as hiccup was relaxing trying to think of a way to get out of this mess he got himself into, now everyone wants him to kill a dragon in the killer ring to pass the final exam and become a real Viking.

Hiccup was going to prove them all wrong for his final exam as he wanted to bring peace between the two sides.

Hiccup close his eyes and started to doze off until he heard someone yelling.

"HICCUP!"

Hiccup opens his eyes wide to see his father and the other vikings surrounding them over the cove.

"Da-dad?" Hiccup said in shock.

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING WITH THAT DRAGON!?" stoick yelled as he jump down along with the other Vikings into the cove.

toothless is startled and got up growling at them, hiccup tries to calm down toothless believes all the Vikings coming at them.

He stood in front of his dragon and

"EVERYONE STOP! I can explain!" Hiccup said to all of them, "please everyone calms down he's not going to hurt any of you."

stoick was fuming, "so this is where you have been all this time! This is what you're doing out in the woods!? Everything you have been doing in that ring was A TRACK!? A LIE!"

"dad please it's a misunderstanding I was goi..." Hiccup got cut off by his father.

"WHAT IS THAT I MISUNDERSTANDING! YOU BEFRIENDED A DRAGON!" stoick yelled from the top of his lungs, "ASTRID WAS RIGHT ABOUT YOU! HERE I THOUGHT YOU WERE FINALLY PUTTING ALL THESE STUPID IDEAS AWAY BUT NOW YOU'RE DOING THIS!?"

Hiccup was confused and shocked, "Astrid? What Does Astrid have to do with this?"

"She told us everything that she saw, you were feeding it our food, playing with it! Is this some sort of pet of yours!?" stoick asks in anger.

Astrid then appears right next to stoick side and hiccup couldn't believe it she saw what he is doing in the cove and he didn't even realize he is being watched.

"Dad please let me explain I'm a dragon trainer, I was trying to find a way to bring peace among the dragons!" Hiccup said but nobody was interested in hearing what hiccup had to say.

"WE CAN NEVER MAKE PEACE WITH THEM! THEY HAVE KILLED HUNDREDS OF US AND ONE OF THOSE WERE OWN YOUR MOTHER!" stoick yelled.

"And we have killed thousands of them but this isn't the dragon who killed mom, I don't know why dragons radar us but there has to be a reason, there has to be a way where we can finally stop it, dad for once your life will you please just listen to me, I just wanted to end this war between us all!" Hiccup said as he was holding next to toothless as he was trying to be brave.

Many of the Vikings yelled out.

"BLASPHEMER!"

stoick couldn't believe his own son was standing up to a dragon and even had the dare about mother this wasn't the dragon, so what it's still a dragon! "You are a traitor you have betrayed us and this will be punishment! CAPTURED AND LOCK THEM UP!" stoick yelled as hiccup try to get on toothless but the Vikings were too quickly as they got them both, many were on top of toothless as two Vikings grab hiccup by the arms and pull HIM away.

"DAD WHY CAN'T YOU LISTEN TO ME FOR ONCE IN YOUR LIFE PLEASE I..." Hiccup got slapped across the face by his own father.

"Take this traitor away out of my sight!" stoick said as he turn away.

When they got back to the village everyone was looking at hiccup throwing garbage at him and was even attacked by some.

The guards had to keep the attacking villagers away from Hiccup but some did get a few good hits.

When they finally made it to the cell.

"Get in there runt!" One of the guards said as they toss him onto the stone floor.

"I'm not a traitor!" Hiccup yelled at them as the other guard came in and grab hiccups ankle and took his boots and his fur vest.

"traitors are not allowed to have these especially when it belongs to a formal heir," The guards told him as they decided to beat him up as and scream the words "dragon lover!"

After they were done, hiccup was now left in there all alone for who knows how long perhaps a month or two? and during all that time no one came to visit him, the guards came and only give him a little bit of food and water every few days.

He wanted to be with his best friend and brother toothless.

Flashback over

Hiccup couldn't believe it was Astrid the one who got him into this mess, why would she do this to him?

He never did anything wrong to her before but seeing them along with the other teens was always mean to him.

Nobody would come to visit him and he was going to be locked up here alone.

now he is forced to kill his best friend or he going to be executed by blood eagle in front of the entire tribe.

He Lost everything now.

Hiccup started crying again because he wanted his dragon, "toothless."
