who was he?
Back at Berk
Ragnar when to find his mother, she was sitting at the fire looking sad, "hey Mom are you all right?"
valka turn around to look at our son, Ragnar, "oh... Ragnar, are you all right?"
Ragnar shook his head and came over, "Mom what's wrong? I can tell something is not right about you."
"It's nothing Ragnar, I'm fine," valka said but her son knew that was a lie.
"Mom I can tell there's something wrong what is it? Is it something about that hiccup? I mean I heard by gubber and few other Vikings talk about him but I don't know who really was he?" Ragnar said as he came closer to his mother and then she picked her son up and put him on her lap.
"Well I guess I can tell you, your father doesn't really want me to speak about him and the others don't really try to talk about much," valka said as her son look confused.
"What do you mean?" He asked his mother wanting to know.
"Well he was an outcast for almost his life just because he's different from the rest of the Vikings," valka said as her son nodded.
"I have heard a few things about that and I mean that is a good reason for him to be an outcast just because he's different," Ragnar said but his mother quickly shook her head.
"No that's not! Just because someone is different doesn't mean you should treat them badly, there's nothing wrong being different from others, hiccup had gotten himself into trouble and it's hard to understood at times but he was a good person nonetheless, he wanted to be just like the rest of the Vikings until he meant a dragon, he found a friendship with it but a secret with eventually exposed and he was trial as a traitor and if he did not did what he was told he would be condemned to death," valka had started to cry with tears in her eyes but she wipe them away.
"But dragons are our enemies? That is a crime for helping an enemy right?" Ragnar ask his mother.
"Yes but it was completely different, hiccup wanted to bring peace and finally end the war, even I had those desires when I was young but sadly your father never could see reason, it was either hiccup accepted the Viking way and kill his Dragon friend or received a traitor death," valka explain as her son look down in sadness.
"What happened to him?" Ragnar ask.
"He was able to escape with his dragons friends and he was never seen again, I wish you got a chance to meet your big brother," valka said but then quickly covering her mouth but her son had already heard it.
"Wait he's my brother?" Ragnar ask as his mother nodded with tears coming down again.
"After what happened your father never wanted to hear his name again, he was ashamed and disappointed that he had a son like him, he didn't even want you to know, let's just keep this as our little secret," valka said as Ragnar nodded.
"Okay Mom," Ragnar said as he gave her a hug.
Little do they know outside there was someone listening, he had pure golden eyes hearing the whole entire thing, "our alpha has a brother?"
