I hope everyone's ready to enjoy what happens next in this chapter.
new home
gobber took hiccup out of the village and brought him to the forest where they soon reach a small beat-down house.
"It's at least nice to know I have a house to live in but why are they doing this?" Hiccup asks.
"Lad your father is only trying to help you," gobber said as hiccup looked at him.
"Do you think there's something wrong with me too?" Hiccup ask as gobber shook his head.
"No lad But your father despite what he said to you very does care about you but thinks you need to be fixed by toughing yourself up, the whole entire reason why he's doing this is that if you can survive for the winter and then kill the night fury you would be proven to be worthy of being a Viking of worth as well being chief one day," gobber explain but didn't really know how to say it right without making hiccup upset.
"So this is the only way to let me be his son again? I just wanted to be accepted for who I was and end this war between dragons and Vikings, I just wanted to approve to you guys that I'm worth what I am," hiccup said as he was about to go inside the house.
"Wait lad, I don't really believe you were a traitor but your father is just a stumper," gobber said as hiccup looked at him one last time before entering the house.
gobber was surprised at the fact that hiccup just went in without saying goodbye, he signed before leaving back to the tribe.
With hiccup
Hiccup was all alone here and there was barely anything and there was it a bunch of broken-down furniture, the place was a mess and there was no food.
Hiccup started cleaning up the place and moving some of the wrecked furniture, place now looks better at least a little bit than before.
Hiccup got on the broken-down wooden bed and started crying himself to sleep.
Back with gobber
gobber made back to the council room and stoick was there waiting for him.
"I'm guessing you got him to the house and he stayed there?" stoick ask sounding cold.
"Yes, I did get him there, stoick do you really think this is a wise idea to do your own son?" gobber ask.
stoick look at him with that same hateful glance but there was a little bit of regret in his eyes, "no, I will not take him back as my son and heir, not until he redeems himself to his me and his tribe, he's 15 now and he has to start learning to take care of himself and take actions responsibility for his own mess and trouble he got himself into."
gobber never thought he would hear stoick say that "I know what the lad did was wrong but I don't really believe this is the right type of punishment for him, he was just trying to help and find a new way to end the war, he's more like a pacifist to the tribe."
"Vikings are not pacifists, they are warriors who kill and protect their own, he needs to learn to start doing the same not just for his tribe but for himself, he needs to start putting these ideas that he had in his head and throw them out," stoick explained.
"stoick, you and me both know he's like his mother when it comes with dragons, you let her get away with what she did, she wanted to make peace with dragons, I don't think Valka wouldn't be ashamed of hiccup for befriending a dragon i..." gobber got cut off.
"ENOUGH!" stoick yelled, "don't ever bring her up into this AGAIN! She may have wanted peace but look what that got her! It got herself killed by a dragon!"
Spitloud came in for hearing the yelling, "what's going on in here?"
"Nothing brother," stoick said as went to take a seat, "gobber get out of my sight I can't even look at you right now for what you have to dare brought up!"
gobber turn around and left the room but was hoping his words would get through to stoick soon.
After that spitloud and stoick we're sitting together, "stoick why are you going to do about that boy? You know he's probably not going to survive the winter, we should talk about the possibility of you remarrying and..."
stoick had cut off his little brother and said, "If he doesn't survive then you and your son would become the next heirs to berk."
"As much as I am honored I really would not want the position and my son as much as I do love him we both know he would never be fit to be chief knowing how he acts," Spitloud explain, "I know you did not want hiccup blood eagle because we both know the truth you still care about him."
"I do but I can't, he has betrayed me and betrayed his people, now he must redeem himself and become a viking, this is the only way for him, until then he is not my son," stoick said with a little bit of regret in his voice but he must do for what is best for the tribe.
stoick had enough of this conversation and got up and left as he headed back home, a part of him believed he was the one who cause hiccup to betray the tribe and push him to become a traitor.
At the docks
A small ship was coming to the docks as the Vikings who were there saw the person on the ship they all suddenly had their mouths dropped wide open.
