They've all got pretty much the same personalities, but they've swapped positions. So Mario and Kaylabear have swapped, meaning Kayla's immortal while Mario is a living ragdoll. Bryan and Xylo have just switched jobs and when they're introduced.
"Put me down!" The doll shrieked, trying - and failing - to escape Kayla's grasp. She pouted at the ragdoll she was holding.
"Aww, but you're so small! If I put you down you might get hurt."
"I'll be FINE, now let me go!"
Bryan sighed.
"Kayla, let Mario go. He might end up biting you if this continues, and I'd really rather not deal with that right now."
In response, Kayla turned to Bryan with wide eyes filled dramatically with fake tears.
"But he's so little..."
"He's managed to bite people's fingers off at least eight times, I think he'll be fine."
Reluctantly, she placed him gently on the floor, and he proceeded to climb up onto the back of the couch, glaring all the while. Well, as much as one can glare when they have buttons for eyes. Kayla let out a little gasp and an 'Aww' at the actions. Mario bristled angrily, as she held her hands against her face in a clear attempt to hide the smile spreading across her features.
"I should have left you with that stupid lizard-looking thing, I swear." He grumbled, crossing his arms as his stiched-on mouth formed a pout. The buttons that took the place of his eyes slid partway into the little pockets of fabric behind them, indicating he was squinting.
"Aww, you wouldn't have, you're too tiny for that." Kayla cooed, patting him on the head. Mario's previously annoyed face turned into a full-on scowl as he clung angrily to the couch. Bryan, realising that he should probably stop Kayla from dying a second time that day, picked Mario up by the hood of his jacket, and tucked him between his arm and his chest in a hug of sorts. Mario immediately went still, although he kept muttering under his breath.
Bryan, noticing Kayla's awe at the sight, began to explain.
"For some reason he stops moving when someone hugs him like this. We think it's because it's similar to how some children hold their toys, and it's some sort of reflex of his to freeze when a child has him. We could be wrong, but that's the best guess we have right now."
"So when he's about to do something bad you just hold him like that?" She questioned, leaning forward to look down at the now subdued ragdoll, before gasping. "Can I have a go???"
Bryan shrugged.
"Yeah, sure, I don't see why not."
As he was passed over, Mario muttered,
"I am going to tear your arm off at the first chance I get..."
