Chapter Fourteen

Agatha's P.OV.

Bago ako naglakad papalayo sa lalaking wala nang ginawa kundi galitin ako. I can see a tortured expression firmly attached on his lovely face. Lovely face ? Where did that come from ? It only proves na tama talaga ako and he's totally guilty about it. I should stop thinking about it and start thinking kung paano ako magcocommute pauwi. Okay magtatanung tanong ako or tatawag na lang ako sa bahay para magpahatid sa driver. In the first place dapat pala di ko muna pinauwi si Mang Johnny kaso nakakaawa naman siya and he deserves to rest at kapag ganito kasing pagkakataon na may practice kami sumasabay ako kay Matt kaso nanggulo kasi si Michael. Kasalanan niya to ! I walk and walk and walk and saw Michael's car approaching, I tried to look calm as if nothing wrong is happening, nang makalagpas na siya sa akin, bumalik ako sa original state ko. Oh my god wala na bang taxi pagganitong time. I walk again until I found myself infront of my fave coffee shop. Pumasok ako at bumili ng makakain. I'm famished.

Umorder ako ng fave namin ni Nathan na Caramel Affogato and a slice of blueberry cheese cake. I brought the fork up to my mouth and darted my tongue out to catch some of the blue berry syrup. I closed my eyes and felt like I was in my own cheese cake induced of pseudo-orgasmic ecstasy.

" Mmmm.. delicious."

" It should." I opened my eyes and I saw a man in mid 20's clad in a suit, standing in front of me. And has a wide grin on his face. I flushed in embarrasment. " Well its my favorite too." He added.

" Pwede bang makiupo ?" His smile is infectious so I smiled back and he took it as a cue na pumayag ako.

" Btw. I'm Yubi Melendrez." He's name is so cute not until.... " Yubi, shortened version ng Ubaldo." Muntik ko ng mabuga ang iniinom ko thank God at napaubo lang ako.

" Are you alright ?" I told him that I was fine pero di ko mapigilan na matawa. " I know that my name is funny and outdated kaya I prefer being called by my nickname." He smiles, completely amused. His smile its not creepy and its telling me by the way he's dressed that he's working on a large company that still requires young men to wear suits.

" And you are ?"

" I'm Agatha."

" That's a beautiful name." He said it never leaving his gaze to mine. That's when I noticed his beautiful green eyes. " Na mana ko yan sa Dad ko, He's a spanish." He explained. Wow, how could he do that, answered my unspoken questions.

" I can tell that nagulat ka dahil nasagot ko yung tanong sa isip mo." He said it with a funny look on his face.

" How?" I cannot hide my surprised and amazement.

" I can see it through your beautiful hazel brown depths."

I flushed again. Tinignan ko ang relo ko at nagdesisyon na na uuwi na ko. Nagpaalam ako at nagpasalamat sa company niya. Sinabayan niya na ako sa paglabas.

" Paano ka uuwi ?" He asked me while walking out of the store. Bigla kong naalala yung problema kong yun. Hindi ko na pansin na may lubak pala sa dinadaanan ko at natisod ako but he caught me before I hit the ground and held me close to his chest while I regaining my balance.

" Easy, okay ka lang." He's holding my back and his other hand brushed my hair out of my eyes. Hindi ako makasagot sa tanong. Tumingin siya sa akin and lean his face close to mine. As a destruction sinabi kong ayos lang ako at nagpasalamat ako sa kanya.

" I'd be fool to let you go." He's different from Michael, confident siya at di arrogante. He seemed nice naman.

May sasabihin sana siya nang may tumulak sa kanya.

" Okay ka lang, Agatha.?" I recognized that familiar voice. Tinignan niya si Yubi from head to toe at tumingin siya uli sa akin.

" Sino siya Agatha? Ginugulo ka ba niya ? " Yubi asked. Completely annoyed to him.

" Boyfriend niya ako." He growled at him. My jaw dropped in shock. Gusto ko siyang kontrahin pero walang boses na lumalabas sa bibig ko.

" I'm sorry bro. I really am." Naglakad na si Yubi papunta sa kanyang kotse ng bigla siya ng humarap." By the way Agatha, it was nice knowing you." He smiled but not touching his beautiful eyes at me for the last time. Pumasok na siya sa kotse niya.

I stand there still, watching Yubi's departure. Hinatak ako ni Michael papasok ng Benz niya.

Michael's P.O.V.

" Bakit mo yun sinabi ?"

" Ang alin?" I pretend na di ko alam ang sinasabi niya.

" Na boyfriend kita?"

" Dun din naman kasi tayo papunta." I flashed my wolfish grin. Sisirain pa ng lalaking yun ang plano ko.

" Excuse me, sino naman ang nagsabi nun sayo? Kaasar ka ! Sayang talaga."

" Trust me Baby. Anong sayang dun na hahalikan ka na sana niya kaso dumating ako? Well I'm here kung gusto mo, just ask for it and tell me where do you want me to kiss you."

" Bastos ! Never in a million years." She spatted. " It's not because of the kiss you know, its just that I found him the kind of guy I could imagine dating for a while and you blew it big time."

" What about me? Will you go out with me? " I asked innocently and she didn't answer for like a minute.

" Alam mo Michael I entertain dates but not suitors especially someone like you." She said quietly.

Ang feelingera naman nito akala naman niya type ko siya kundi lang dahil sa pustahan at sa reputasyon ng Writers Club.

" Bakit nga pala, ayaw mo ng magboyfriend?" Bigla na lang yang lumabas sa bibig ko. She looked at me, eyes open wide and looked down on her knotted fingers.

" You knew it already." She said it in a soft tone.

" Because of Nate?" Tumango lang siya at hindi ko na siya tinanong pa.

" Yeah, he is my first love, first boyfriend and My first in everything. I don't want anyone else to have me except him. I promised to him that he'll be my first & last. I don't wanna break that." She added and I 'm surprised.

" You mean HE WAS." I do the quotation gesture with my free hand as I emphasized the last two words. I can tell that it hit her hard coz that statement reduce her into tears.

Hindi na kami nagimikan pa and I can't keep my eyes on her. Nakayuko pa rin siya at kitang kita sa palda niya ang mga water mark na galing sa mga luha niya.

Nakarating na kami sa bahay niya. She struggled with the lock. I leaned forward and reached an arm to unlock it. She backed herself on the car seat completely avoiding any contact from him. She met my eyes and smiled before she stepped out. Hindi na siya lumingon pa.

I waited for her to come in, before I left. Di man lang siya nagpasalamat na hinatid ko siya. Walang utang naloob. I sigh, then look on the space she vacated beside me and I noticed a rectangular case sitting below the seat.

Okay, good. Binigyan niya ako ng pagkakataon na makausap siya uli. What happened tonight is not what I've planned but it works somehow.
