Chapter Thirteen

Its already 9:30pm, iniintay kong matapos ang practice ng biktima ko. After 10mins. nakita ko na siya with her friends. " Gosh ! Si Michael !" Napansin ako nung girl na naka eye glasses. Nagtinginan silang lahat. " Ang cute niya talaga !" The other girl said.

Si Agatha ang pinakahuling tumingin sa kanila. She looked at me briefly and quickly tore her eyes away from me. Naglakad ako papalapit sa kanila and I heard her friends giggled.

They greeted me warmly and I greeted them back,equally. " Michael bakit nandito ka pa?" The girl cellist said. " I'm waiting for someone." I said as I put my Chesire cat grin." They asked me if who it was.

" Agatha." I cocked my head to one side and flash my rare seductive smile to her but didn't have the effect I desired, For she wouldn't lift her head. The girl on her right tapped her shoulder. Agatha looked at her then the girl moved her head in my direction and back to hers. Humiyaw ang mga kaibigan niya and they gave each other a meaningful look.

" Tara na, guys uwi na tayo! Bye Agatha ! Bye Michael !" Good thing naintindihan nila na gusto kong masolo si Agatha. " Guys, you don't have to leave." Agatha protested, but she's too late. Ang layo na nila sa amin.

" Anong kailangan mo ? Wala ako sa mood na makipagaway !" She snapped at me.

" Calm down. Want a lift ?"

" I appreciate your offer pero kay Matt ako sasabay eh at kung gagawin mo lang yun for the sake na bawiin ko yung complain ko, its not gonna happen."

" Uhmm... Ano --- " She cut me off.

" Ano ? " She's irritated now.

" Uhmm.. " I raise my hand to point something.

" Ano ba yun ? Dalian mo na !"

" Yung kotse ni Matt --" His car has just exited the gate.

" Oh my god !" She tried to chase him but I held her wrist fast.

" Let me go ! Let me go !" She yelled at me. Trying to remove my hold on hers.

" No, I won't" I held her wrist tighter. I can feel her quickening pulse beneath my fingers. " Anong ginagawa mo ?" She asked angrily. " Pinipigilan ka." I said truthfully. I was momemtarily distracted by the lumps of water forming in her beautiful eyes. Ngayon ko lang napansin ang kanyang mga mata. I was charmed by it. Hindi ko napansin na lumawag na pala ang pagkakahawak ko sa kanya kaya nakapiglas siya. Naglakad siya papalayo sa akin.

" Saan ka pupunta ?"

" Magcocommute pauwi, Thanks to you." She said in a sarcastic tone.

" Ikaw ? Magcocommute? As if namang marunong ka." I laughed at that thought. She bowed down her head, feeling guilty, coz I'm right, and started to run away from me, muttering something.

" Mag ingat ka. Sa ganda mong yan baka mapano ka."

Huminto siya at humarap sa akin. I can sense na sasabay na siya sa akin so I smiled widely and my eyes brightened with what loooked like hope. Now, I can make my first move in seducing her. " Sayo pa nga lang naharass na ko sa iba pa kaya ? Salamat sa concern mo ah." She put her faked smile. My smile suddenly slipped. I'm struggling to maintain a straight face. Worse I couldn't contradict her. I clenched my fists, coz she's right. We stared at each other for a minute, our eyes lock. There's an awkward silence lurking between us. She broke first and she got away, leaving me and my scattered thoughts.
