(Dipper pov)

"No no no. Absoulutely not. I will not be caught living or dead in that thing."

I stand in Pacifica's room with my arms crossed over my chest as she holds up the dress that I am supposed to wear for this plan of theirs. I still hate it with every fiber of my being but I hate it even more once I saw the dress. It's long enough that it goes down to the ankles so I won't have to worry about my not shaved legs but it's the rest I have a problem with.

It's made to look almost like a crop top shirt and a skirt, lace being the only thing connecting both parts. It's a royal dark blue which I like but I had hoped it would have sleeves. It just has these tiny straps that are made to intentionally hang loose on the shoulders. The dress is supposed to be held up mostly with a girl's chest.

Pacifica sighs looking at me annoyed. "Dipper, it's not that bad."

"That thing won't stay on me, it doesn't have sleves, and no one said anything about the mid section bit."

"I made adjustments on it so while the straps will still fall of your shoulders it will stay up on it's own. It has a corset on the back so with some extra tightening of that along with the other additions I already made to it, it will stay."

"There aren't any sleeves."

"So? According to Mabel you don't have any body hair on you anyway."

".....I really hate how nosey she is about things like that sometimes."

"Now put it on." She pushes the dress into my arms.

"With you still in here? Are you kidding?"

"Just get it over with. You're going to still wear your boxers so it isn't as bad as you are trying to make this seem."

"You both are really going to owe me big time when this crap is over and done with."

"Just put it on over with."

Grumbling under my breathe I strip my own clothes before I pull the dress on over my head and smooth it out once it's on. Pacifica walks behind me and starts pulling at the ribbons of the corset.

"Easy easy! That's too tight!"

"Trust me, if you can still breath then it isn't tight enough." She pulls it even tighter where I can breathe but it hurts my chest to do so. She smoothes the dress out, making sure there aren't any wrinkles before she turns me to look at her. "There. Now for the wig."

Her sea green dress swishes around her feet as she pulls a brown wig out of a hat box and situates it on my head. She sits me at a chair and I lean away from her as she holds up a makeup brush.

"Just what the heck do you think you're doing with that thing?"

"Mabel always wears makeup to my parties. Plus you need it to help you look more female. It won't be much, just hold still."

I silently fume in anger an annoyance as she applies light makeup to my face before she walks behind me and curls the wig.

She takes my hand pulling me up and stands me in front of a mirror. For a second I think that Mabel was able to get someone to cover her shift after all and that I won't actually have to do this, until I realize that despite all my doubts she actually did make me look like Mabel.

"Wow....this might actually work after all." I mutter quietly.

"Of course it will. Now just two accessories. I was saving these for you and Mabel's birthday but today will work anyway."

She hands me a bracelet, it having these blue gems form a pine tree like the one on my hat I usually wear. She clips a necklace around my neck, the diamonds and rubies forming a shooting star.
