(Bill pov)

I grip the banister tightly as his ship comes into view, pulling up right alongside mine. His smirk sends chills down my spine but I do everything I can to not show it.

My eyes glance down the Dipper's unconscious form laying at his feet. A blindfold is tied around his eyes and heavy chains are wrapped around his arms and ankles. I notice that the chains are connected to a heavy chest.

"Long time no see, Cipher. How is that cousin of yours? He still licking up his wounds from last time?"

"Let the boy go."

"Not a chance. He's been too much fun to play with. Maybe after I am finished with you and that annoying cousin of yours, I'll just keep him. I can just keep playing with him and see how long until his body breaks as much as his spirit already has."

A gunshot rings out to my right, a hole ripping into Abbadon's shoulder. I glance over at Mabel, the flintlock in her hands pointed right at him in a steady two handed grip.

Glancing at Abbadon I can sure the fury in his eyes. He is just used to everyone fearing him. It must really piss him off that not only am I not afraid, but a human like Mabel isn't afraid of him either. Nothing pisses him off more than when he doesn't get his way.

I wave my hand out, all the gangplanks falling and making passage between the two ships. Without a word all of my crew draw out their weapons and rush onto his ship.

I lose sight of him in the battle but that doesn't matter. He isn't the one I'm after. We don't even have to end him here. We just need to get Dipper and stall him long enough for Ford's crew to get here undetected.

Taking one last deep breath in and out I make my way across the gangplank.

My eyes scan through the chaos of the battle, looking for where he could have left Dipper. I finally spot him, the chest he's chained to halway off the ship. If it was given a good enough push, then it and him would be sent into the sea.

I push through the chaos heading his way but am stopped by wall of pure black fire. I turn around to see him standing there, that fucking smirk back on his face and pure fucking joy in his eyes. In his hand is his sword, completely covered in his black flames.

"You have no idea how much I am going to enjoy this, Cipher."

"Like you enjoyed killing my parents? And Tad's? Or maybe as much as you enjoyed torturing him?"

"You and that idiot have been a thorn in my side and now is when I finally get rid of your mother's mistake of creating you."

"Don't talk about my mother."

"What you going to do about it? Going to run away again, just like you always have done? Because face it, Cipher. All you can ever do is run away when things get tough."

I draw out my sword, pointing it right at him. Focusing I fuse my blue flames with the blade. My powers still aren't as strong as I would like them to be, after my trick of moving my ship when Ford found us, but they will have to be strong enough to end him.

"I am done running from the likes of you."

He charges at me and I block his attack, our flames clashing and sending a shockwave across the entire ship. He attacks with fury and anger as I use all of the skills I have learned from all of my years at see to parry him and dodge him. I manage to slash at his face, taking joy in hearing him cry out. He staggers back, black blood dripping down his right cheeks from the wide open cut.

Hearing a small groan I steal a glance behind me at Dipper. He's moving slightly, trying to sit up I think. The important thing is that he's waking up and alive.

I look back at Abbadon again just in time to parry his attack. His foot connects with my chest sending me sprawling out on my back painfully and my sword falls out of reach as he points his right at me.

"This is where you die, Cipher."

He raises his sword up bring it down towards me. It feels like everything happens in slow motion. I can't move as I watch the unthinkable happen.

With horror I watch as Tad jumps in front of me, the sword being driven right into his stomach and through his back. His screams of pain drive themselves into my skull as the sword is pulled out and he collapses to the ground in front of me.

"Tad!" I put my hand on his shoulder, gently rolling him on his back. No no no this can't be happening. He's all the family that I have left, I can't lose him. I use one hand to keep pressure on the wound and use the other to make him look at me.

"Bill....."

"Shut up Tad. Just stay awake. Y-You're going to be fine. We're going to get you out of this. I promise."

I see Abbadon raise his sword again but the sound of a cannonball hitting the ship and the impact rocks the entire ship so hard that it throws him to the ground. I look up seeing that the Pines' finally made it, their men coming on board and joining the fight.

Mabel comes over kneeling at Tad's side.

"Bill, go after Dipper. I got Tad, just go save my brother."

"Keep the pressure on and do not let him fall asleep or he will never wake up."

"Just go!"

Standing up I run towards Dipper, desparately trying to get there before anything else can happen to him.

"Dipper!" I call out seeing his head turn towards me.

I reach my hand out to him and am almost there when I see the chest glowing black and is sent into the ocean. His scream is cut short as he is dragged along with it. I don't hesitate for even a second before throwing off my hat and diving into the water after him.
