Chapter Thirteen ~ The Date

I go to school like usual and meet up with Clay and LouLou. "Hey!" I beam, running up to them. "Hello!" Clay beams back. We walk into the school and, like usual, part ways with LouLou. Once we make it into the classroom and sit down Clay whispers something. "I want to take you on a date. Where do you want to go? We can go anywhere you'd like!" I think for a moment. I don't really like to go out in public. "What if we have a movie date at my house? You can pick the movies." I whisper back. "Sounds like a plan! After school today?" I nod. I pull back and look towards the front of the room.

After class Clay walks me to art. After my classes LouLou and I meet up to walk to the lunchroom. "Guess what!" I squeal. LouLou looks at me suspiciously. "What?" She asks. "Clay's taking me on a date!" I Jump up and down excitedly. "Oh. My. God. AAA!" She squeals. We continue walking and finally make it to the lunchroom. Sitting down, LouLou gives Clay a knowing look. "Make sure to tell us how your date goes." Tobi leans in and whispers. Clay nods. I nod too, blushing slightly.

After lunch we all go to our classes and soon enough school is over. I told LouLou that me and Clay weren't going to wait for her. We walk to my house in silence, hand in hand.

Once we make it to my house I shoo my mother out of the living room so we can watch movies. "What first?" I ask. "What about a romcom?" Clay asks, plopping down onto the couch. I grab the remote and cuddle up to Clay. We began watching the movie. About half way through I fell asleep.

After a few hours I wake up. I see Clay sleeping on my shoulder. I smile and shake him awake. "Good morning sleepy head." I lean down and kiss him. "You should probably get home. It's getting dark out!" I grin. Clay nods and gets up, stretching. He kisses me one more time before getting up. He walks over to where he took off his shoes. "See you tomorrow! Love you!" He exclaims, throwing on his shoes. I'm shocked for a moment. "Love you too!" I grin.

Clay waves goodbye and walks out of the house. I stand up and jump up and down, excitedly. I run upstairs and jump onto my bed. Grabbing my notebook, I flip to a clean page.

OH. MY. GOD.

We just had our first date and it was AMAZING! We watched movies and took a nap together.

And before he left HE SAID HE LOVED ME!!

Oh my Gods, I'm going to marry this man.

With that I grab my phone and open my messages, clicking on LouLou's contact.

I put my phone on the charger and lay down. As I fall asleep I think about everything that happened today. I fall asleep with a smile on my face.
