A/N: This is a rewrite of my fanfiction Secret Keeper from FanFiction.net. It was written 8 years ago and to be honest not really one of my favorites anymore. The further I got away from it and then came back to it the more I started to not like it. But I do know that there are those who do like it (Since it has been copied and posted by another user 3 separate times.) There are times when it seems some storylines are similar to other storylines. This was my first FanFic and I honestly had no idea what I was doing. So please bear with me. Love You all and your support.
Mornings are simply more fun on the upper east side. Our favorite things to wake up to-the sun in the sky, The nikkei on the rise And a wake-up call from your latest lover - Or your best friend.
Layla stood in the kitchen getting ready to go. Sophie on her hip.
"Hey where are you headed this morning" Nate asked.
"Lily invited me to breakfast, she says I am part of the family" Layla replied.
"Sounds fun"
"Is Blair bringing you breakfast again?"
"Layla"
"What I notice things and I've noticed she's been around a lot"
"We're just friends"
"Does she know that?"
"We're just friends."
"Lets go Soph, your Uncle Nate is meeting Aunt Blair."
"Your mother doesn't know what she's talking about Soph" Nate shouted as Layla headed out the door.
Layla grabbed a cab and headed that way. She said hello to Vanya and went up the elevator.
"You are really committed to making this family work. I'm proud of you, mom." Eric said.
"Aw thank you." Lily said.
"Layla" Dan said hugging her.
Chuck walked into the room and grabbed a piece of bacon.
"Oh, Charles, are you staying for breakfast?" Lily asked.
"I have an appointment" Chuck said kissing Layla's cheek."What does Chuck Bass do at 8 am? It's not like you work out?" Dan asked.
"I do my cardio in the evenings. Morning is for business, for which I am late. So if you'll excuse me" Chuck said kissing Sophie's head.
"Does this feel like a sitcom to anybody else?" Eric asked.
"It feels like a reality show." Dan replied.
"Good so I can vote you off." Chuck said then walked out
"It would almost be scary If it wasn't wearing plaid."
Layla laughed and grabbed a bagel. Lily took Sophie from her.
"You guys didn't start without me, did you?" Serena said running in "You didn't tell her yet."
"No" Lily said then looked at Jenny.
"What? Tell me what?" Jenny asked.
"Well, we wanted to tell you in person and all of you."
"We are planning a sweet 16 party for you here, tomorrow night." Serena said excited.
"Fantastic caterer and beautiful flowers. D J, the perfect guest list."
"We wanted it to be a surprise, though."
"We heard you had one of those last year, and it didn't go so well."
