A wise woman once said that every morning when you wake up, you say a little all, you never know what your day may hold. From quiet solitude to surprise company. The day waits for no one.

Layla straddled Chuck while his back was against the headboard. Since their I love yous things had gotten more intense in the bedroom. But she still had a lot on her mind. She knew Chuck wanted to save his dad's company and the only way was through Raina.

"I've been thinking about what I asked you" Layla said.

"I told you I won't seduce her."

"Then don't, but you can get her to maybe fall for you."

"You want another girl to fall for me?"

"Just show her a deeper side to you."

"Her and I are strictly friends I've told her that I've told you that"

"Than become better friends."

"And if she wants more?"

"You'll figure it out" she said kissing his cheek and then getting up and walking into the living room.

Nate stood there holding Sophie

"Look Soph your mom and dad decided to leave the bedroom"

"Shut up" Layla said grabbing her daughter.

"The rate you two are going Sophie should have a new sibling by Fall"

"Funny"

"Morning Nathaniel" Chuck said coming into the room.

"I was just telling my sister about your progress"

"Well did your sister tell you about her plan?"
"I just want him to befriend her more not jump into anything"

"You do realize that in order for him to get further he sort of has to persue some sort of relationship with her"

"We'll figure it out when it gets there" Layla said setting Sophie down

"Well one of my corporate weasels informed me that their board is voting tonight and once that happens, Bass Industries is toast. So we need to act soon."

The elevator dinged.

"Hello? Anybody home?" Blair said coming in "Epperly, meet my good friend Chuck Bass and Layla Archibald Baizen"

"Nice to meet you, Mr. Bass, Miss Baizen"

"That's Nate." Blair said pointing to Nate "Chuck, we need a favor. The magazine lost its space for the kickoff party tonight, and Epperly and I both agree The Empire would be the perfect replacement."

"Sadly, The Empire is spoken for, but The Palace is available." Chuck said.

"The Palace would lend an air of old-world sophistication to the evening." Blair said.

"I'd have to check with Florence's manager. Do you have a stage?"Epperly asked.

"They'll have one by tonight." Layla said.

"Okay I can get behind that."

"And that brings me to another point of business. Nate, would you show Epperly the view from the roof? It's something you must see." Blair said.
"Excellent idea. I need to speak to Blair alone for a moment."
