Hey there strangers!

I'm so very, extremely, sorry for leaving you guys for so long. A lot of things happened, one of them is that I moved to another country, and you guys know how long it takes to move between 2 houses, imagine to a whole different country, then I had to find a job, an apartment and assemble ikea furniture.

Here is a new chapter for you, I can't promise that I will update within 2 weeks, but what I can promise is that I will finish this book, no matter how long it takes.

"Nothing, not a single little thing, nothing at all!" I said sitting on the bed with my arms crossed and an involuntary pout.

"Good morning to you too, honey" said Alex climbing onto the bed crawling to give me a kiss on the cheek, she was sweaty and with her hair stuck to her face, her sports bra showed her stomach that shone in the sunlight coming through my window. Her kisses continue going down to my neck and then to my chest.

"Al, stop, you are all sweaty" I said pulling away from her.

"Really? I thought you like me all sweaty" she said looking for my eyes. She tilted her head with a concerned face and sat up letting out a sigh. "Do you want me to call the doctor?"

"Yeah? And what are you going to tell her, my girlfriend is worried because she doesn't have morning sickness?" I said looking into her eyes for the first time today.

"Well, I don't know what else to do baby" she said taking off her socks "What can I do? Just tell me and I'll do it" she said getting up and walking to the bathroom.

"I don't want you to do anything, just to listen to me... I don't know, maybe you should also worry, something may be wrong" I heard the shower water falling, normally this was my cue to get up and run to take a shower with her, it was our own little morning routine, after she came back from her daily run and before I went to work, gotta love a morning orgasm, but not today, today I didn't feel like doing anything, the only thing I wanted to feel was a sign that I was really pregnant. After a moment she appeared at the bathroom door, totally naked, and not even that made me get out of bed.

"Em, come on, let's take a shower"

"You go ahead, I'm going to stay in bed for a little longer, I don't have meetings in the morning" I said lying down again and turning my back on her. I heard her footsteps approaching me.

"Babe, you need to relax, everything is fine, I assure you that in a few months you will be experiencing everything that Ana went through, for now the baby is being good to you and you should be grateful for that" she said stroking my hair.

"I know I sound silly, and maybe I'm exaggerating, but..."

"I know baby, I know, and you don't sound silly... Why don't we go to see the doctor this morning, since you don't really have to go to the hotel"

"Okay! Yes, let's do that"

"Perfect, let's go take a shower and I'll call her after that to see if she has an opening" she said taking my hands and lifting me up.

An hour and a half later we were on our way to the doctor's office, I lied, I had some meetings, but this was way more important, I just wanted to confirm that my baby was fine. While Alex was driving I emailed Rose asking her to reschedule my appointments for the next 2 hours.

"Do you think she is going to think that I'm crazy?" I asked Alex while she was driving.

"Doctor Stinson? No way, she must be used to it"
