“Mother.” Ming calls Sea when Sea is about to go to the kitchen.
“If you are still trying to talk to me about your boyfriend. Stop with that. I won't change my mind.”
“But mother Phana is–”
“Cut the bullshit, Ming. Today is New years countdown so don't ruined the celebration.” Sea walks to the kitchen leaving Ming who sighs in the living room.
He still trying to talk about it with his mother but his mother always refused to talked about Phana and him because according to her they won't last long.
“Happy New year!!!” Pong yells in happiness.
They watched the fireworks while drinking and eating in the garden.
“Happy New year, mother, P'Pong and P'Ming.” Meol said.
“Happy New year, my daughter.”
Ming smile to her but looks up to the sky to see the fireworks.
He pulls out his phone in his pocket and take a picture of it.
He smile and send it to Phana.

Three seconds later Phana send a text to Ming.
𝗣𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗮: I am not watching in the garden but I am in the balcony of my room. Look at the pictures I take.
Phana send a picture of the fireworks with a hand hold a beer.
𝗣𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗮: I am drinking alone.
Phana told him about what happened to them in their house so Ming knows that Phana's parents still opposed their relationship. Maybe that's why Phana is in his room alone this New year.
Ming turn to his side. No one is looking at him so he carefully walk away and go to his room with a beer in his hand.
He search Phana's called ID and called him. Phana quickly answered it.
“Hey, Mingkwan. Happy New Year again.”
“Happy New Year, Phana. I am in my room now.”
“Why? I thought you are with your family in the garden?”
Ming smile to the sky.
“Watching the fireworks in the balcony of my room is not that bad, Phana.”
Phana chuckles.
Phana sit in the floor of his balcony and Ming also sit at the same time without them knowing.
“I miss you, Phana.”
“I also miss you, Mingkwan.”
“Are you still watching the fireworks?” Phana asked him.
“Yeah, why?”
“I just remember our first date in the beach, we also watched the fireworks that time while your head is in my shoulder.”
Ming smile.
“You're right. I remember that. I was too tired that time because P'Forth dragged me to join them playing tug of war.”
Phana laughs.
He remember how Ming complain to him about what Forth did to him.
“Mingkwan can you sing for me?” Phana suddenly asked.

He put the phone in speaker mode.

Phana laughs.

“Only my voice?”
“Of course not. I love everything about you, Phana.”
“P'Ming sing a song.” Meol said to his mother and brother.
They are still in the garden and they heard Ming sing from the balcony.
“Ming never sing for anyone.” Sea said. “Do you think your brother is talking to his boyfriend?”
“Yes, mother. I'm sure of it.” Pong said.
Sea turn her head to Meol.
Meol nods.
“I also think so, mother.”
Sea sighs.
“Mother.” Pong says. When Sea looks at him he adds. “Can you just support Ming and his boyfriend relationship? Ming looks like he really like Phana.”
Meol nods.
“I don't want to see P'Ming sad like the other days, mother.”
“Ming never been serious about anything before he meet Phana. He likes to play around with his buddies. Hanging out in the mall and drinking at the bar but now he is not like that and I think it's because of his boyfriend.” Pong said again.
“P'Ming deserve to be happy, mother. Please reconsider his relationship with P'Phana.”
Sea turns around leaving her son and daughter in the garden and go inside the house to have some beers.
Pong and Meol looked at the balcony.
They can hear Ming's laugh.
