A Lethal Protector

Y/n's pov

I opened my eyes as I heard a pound noise. Kassie had kicked open the door to my apartment as she carried me in. Annie and Dan, who had apparently made it there before us, jumped up and helped her get me on the couch so Dan could stitch me up.

"How are you feeling?" Kassie asked holding out her hand. I gripped on tight wincing as I felt the needle going in and out.

"Not great but...I have to go back. V is the only one who can fix all this. I'm too banged up from Carnage for anything a hospital could do to try and help me." Kas jumped up looking at me.

"No Y/n you should get out of here. We don't know if Franco followed us here, especially since he already knew where you lived it's not safe. Plus how do you even know that Venom won't cause even more damage to your system?!"

"Because we are compatible."

"You two-three being in love is not going to save your life dumbass! I'm not losing you because you want to save your boyfriends."

"Kas...our bodies our compatible. It means that unlike how Carnage being in here caused damage...Venom can heal it. You remember all the Greek myths we used to study together?"

"What about them."

"They say that mortals were not just singular entities in the beginning. Mortals were born in connected pairs our groups, that shared the same soul. The Gods feared the mortals would become too powerful together so they split the souls up into pieces, and each soul had to find their other piece or pieces. I don't know why Eddie and I are both able to achieve symbiosis with Venom but I like to think it because we are each others' missing pieces. So no matter what with or without your help I am going back. There is a motor cycle right outside and I know where Eddie keeps his keys." I sat up wincing slightly as Dan finished the stitches. Kas sighed.

"Damn...alright but we need a plan."

Eddie's pov

This is bad this is bad this is bad. I don't know where Y/n went and I don't know if she is safe.

"Eddie, this just means we don't have to worry about keeping debris from hitting her. We can go all out." Carnage grinned at us.

"So you have been holding back father? Well then let's equal the odds here then."

We watched as he started forming insane weapons then we heard the screech and we fell to the ground Carnage and Venom hiding away. I looked to see Shriek fighting...Franco? She had thrown him back against the wall with her scream.

"You almost got the only person who was genuinely kind to me KILLED! That was not apart of the deal!" She had her hands around his throat before getting pulled away by a reformed Carnage.

"KEEP YOUR MOUTH SHUT!" He flung her to the side before turning back to us as Ven took over again going in to fight more.

"Marital problems already?"

"You two would know all about that!"

Out of the corner of our eyes I could see Shriek pulling Franco up to the construction elevator and taking him up. I pulled my focus back to the fight before I heard Carnage scream as flames surrounded him.

"Yeah! Fire and sound!" Dan stood on a balcony above Carnage pouring lit gasoline down onto him.

"Dan!" We smiled at him right before the gasoline ran out he started running before Carnage grabbed on, opening his mouth to take a bite. We jumped in to pull Carnage away bringing his attention back to us. That was when the hour hit and the bell started ringing. Kleatus and I were thrown onto the ground.

"Mono e mono Brock?" That noise took a lot out of me an we had already taken a lot of damage. Kleatus started pounding into me in between the tolls. "You know what I thought about in my final days Eddie?"

There was a brief moment where we were about to form Venom to try and get some hits in before the bell tolled again sending us back to the ground.

"I thought about how you only told one half of the story. You didn't tell the part about how Kleatus was abused by Mommy and Daddy and GRANNY!" I struggled against him as he pulled a piece of plastic over my mouth. Venom was able to pull it away before the bell struck again. Right before the next toll Carnage ripped the tongue of the bell out. "YOU DIDN'T TELL THE WORLD ABOUT HOW I WAS JUST A SCARED LITTLE BOY WHO NO ONE CAME TO SAVE. THERE ARE NO HEROES IN THIS WORLD BECAUSE WHAT KIND OF HERO WOULD LET A KID LIVE THROUGH THAT!" Kleatus picked up a hammer and slammed it into my leg.

"Kleatus stop!" A familiar voice rang in my ears as I gasped for air. We both turned to see Y/n grabbing at her side. Kleatus started moving towards her. "I'll write about it! I will tell the world the whole story! How the trauma you went through made you into the person you are today, and maybe the next kid...won't have to have the same story as you...just...just give me my boys...please..." Kleatus chuckled as he walked up to her. She froze in place as he put a hand on her face.

"DON'T TOUCH HER." Venom had reformed right as we saw one of Carnage's tendrils grab the bell's tongue. It slammed into a beam concrete falling and pinning us down.

"Eddie you sure do know how to pick the good ones...she knows...she knows that I am not a MONSTER...but I am a vengeful man." We watched as Carnage formed again a tendril wrapping around Y/n.

"And for your mistakes, you will watch the one you love die." They started climbing up the cathedral.

"VENOM!"

Y/n's pov

I couldn't help but scream as I looked down at Venom. They were pinned and there was no way I was making it out of this. I was going to die. Carnage had made it to the top where Shriek was. She had Franco tied in chains. She looked at me and shook her head looking at Carnage.

"Baby this is too much. She was kind to me. The first person since you you have to stop him."

"Quiet." Carnage reached out wrapping around Shriek covering her mouth as she struggled.

"What are you doing get your hands off my wife! Let her go!"

"I'm shutting her up for good."

"No stop your hurting her!" I watched as Carnage and Kleatus fought for control. I looked down at Venom trapped down at the bottom of the cathedral. Dan and Kas were trying to pull debris off of them. They were talking but I couldn't hear.

"Eddie! V! Look at them they aren't compatible! They haven't achieved Symbiosis! You two have you can beat them!"

"SHUT UP!" The tendrils covered my mouth and held in my muffled screams. I watched as Venom started pushing up the concrete.

"WE ARE THE LETHAL PROTECTOR!"

Hey guys! Remember how I said "yeah I made extra chapters this time so no more long pauses!" Well right after that there was a serious case of burn out. However we are back in full swing and a better memory of the movie since I rewatched the fight scene while writing this chapter. Anyways hope you enjoyed the chapter Thank you all for your support over the years and astonishing 197k reads and all the comments and I will see you in the next one.
