The Devil, an Alien, and a Serial Killer Walk Into a Cathedral

Kassie's POV

After Eddie...if I should call them that ran off I got in the car with the police officers that had been working with Y/N. Gavin, the scruffier looking guy piped up.

"So...you and Y/N are pretty close right?" I nodded. "She tell you Franco was in town?"

"Yeah...and I'll be honest, when I came to visit her in the first place it wasn't just to check out the city and where I would be living. I was worried about her. He was always so terrible to her. I wanted to make sure she was okay. I mean she had told me about Eddie but I didn't really know him. All I knew was what I had seen of him on his reports. I needed to know if she was getting into the same mess as before in case she needed an out." I gripped my knees hard thinking about it.

"Did you know about...whatever that was?"

"Not at all. I heard her say something about V...but at the time I had know idea what she was talking about. When her dog was injured by what Eddie is about to fight she told us it was a rabid dog or a coyote. I just went along with it but what else could I have went off of. I mean shit its not the craziest thing I've heard of. Literal gods in New York, a soldier frozen in ice since the nazis were around, hell you brought up the fact that an actual mutant is loose right now, but actually seeing an alien in person...if we were in any other situation I would have had a million questions." They each nodded. "I just hope that its not too much for them to handle..."

Eddie's POV

We have to get to her soon. Even though Carnage came from me he wouldn't be a match for Y/N. In the time that he was with her it probably did some damage.

"I know we are almost there. I can see the top of the Cathedral from here."

Y/N's POV

When I woke up again I was tied to a chair sat in the main hall of the cathedral. I didn't even have the energy left to struggle, and to be honest the ropes were probably the only thing keeping me up right. I barely had the energy to lift my head. I looked over to see Franco with a smug grin on his face and beside him a terrified priest. He noticed I was awake and gave me a look of concern.

"Are you all right my child?"

"I'll be honest with you Father, I'm not doing so hot." He gave a sad nod before flinching as Cassidy walked up to him.

"Oh don't you worry about her Father. Now lets have us a wedding!" He reached in his pocket and pulled out my phone. He walked over to me and held it up to my face to unlock it before pressing a few buttons. Music started playing. The wedding march. I looked to the front of the cathedral to see Frances with a huge smile making her way down the isle. Cassidy looked at her in awe. If they weren't insane and holding me against my will, I would find that romantic. I let my head drop back down trying to conserve as much energy as possible. All I could do was listen.

"We are gathered here today to witness the union of Cletus Kassidy and Frances Barrison. These two seem to love each other with all of their-"

"I'll stop you right there Padre. Lets skip the fancy shit and get on with the I do's"

"Right, ahem. Do you Frances Barrison take Cletus to be your lawfully wedded husband."

"I do!!" She giggled excitedly. I could hear the grin on her face.

"And do you Cletus-"

"KASSIDY! WHERE IS SHE!?" I head a familiar voice ring out as I pulled my head up.

"V? Edds?" I looked weakly as I saw Venom standing at the door looking ready to tear Kassidy to pieces.

"Finally the guest of Honor has arrived!" I watched as Kassidy turned to Frances. "I'm sorry darlin but as soon as I take care of this we can finish up. Keep an eye on the others for me okay?" Frances nodded walking behind me.

"DON'T TOUCH HER!" I watched as Kassidy moved forward and Carnage took over.

"Time to die father!" The priest let out a yelp in fear. "Not you father. Venom."

"OH SHIT! THAT IS A RED ONE!" I watched as V slinked back in and Eddie looked confused.

"What are you doing?" He paused for a second. "Look you need to get out here right now!" As they were discussing I watched as Franco pulled out his pistol and aimed it at Eddie. I panicked and looked at my boys.

"V!" Eddie turned to and V quickly took over biting the bullet as it reached them.

"NIBBLE WE WILL SAVE YOU!" I watched on as the fight started.
