Eddie's POV

I couldn't help but smile when we finished up. I mean she was amazing. She looked at me and gave a quick chuckle.

"Don't get too comfortable Edds. The van will be hear in about fifteen minutes." I let out a groan.

"It would be easier if your bed wasn't so comfy..." she smiled and sat up; I moved to lay my head in her lap. I almost fell asleep again as she played with my hair. It was so relaxing.

"Eddie you can't go back to sleep. You have to see what damage Carnage has caused." I sighed knowing V was right. I slowly got up and got dressed again. Y/n looked very cute in the outfit she had put on. A button up shirt and the jeans that caused our spontaneous sex. I gave her a quick kiss as I handed her the keys to my motorcycle then walked out to meet my camera man.

"Yoo Eddie! Long time no see. You've got some pep in your step. Have a good morning?" Remus teased as I got in the passenger seat.

"It's going great so far. But I'm sure it's going to be tainted in a few minutes. How many bodies did Jack say?" I still couldn't believe there was another symbiote on earth. Not to mention the fact that it could belong to a famously brutal serial killer. Maybe that's why his cases were always so violent. I know V sometimes doesn't make it easy for me when getting bad guys. It was odd had having V to make a quick comeback. It reminded me of the week after the life incident. After the fight with Riot and both of us being burnt, V went really quiet. It took most of his energy to heal the two of us. I'm pretty sure he brought me back from the dead.

     "Hey man you okay over there? I was telling you the details but you were just zoned out. I know Jack said you've really been...how did he put it "one with your thoughts" lately but is everything alright?" Remus and I haven't filmed together since the life incident. He checked in on me once or twice after I got fired but he went quiet after a while.

     "Oh sorry about that. I'm okay really. I just felt nostalgic. I mean the last time we did this was Life. And before that the missing homeless people." He smiled as he drove. Remus was a good person. Back then we would occasionally get drinks together after work but that was that.

     "It has been awhile. So to answer your question from before there are 7. We are stopping at the locations where the bodies were found. Then after we are done we'll head to the morgue to see if they found anything interesting. And get this. There's a link to all of them. We got some information from the police and turns out at each location a body would be found and another person would be missing. What do you think it is?" I rubbed the back of my neck knowing exactly what did it.

     "I have no idea. Maybe it's a vampire?" I joked. He laughed.

    It took about ten more minutes for us to get to our first location. It was about an hour away from the prison where Cassidy was locked up. Remus and I got out of the van ready to record. He handed me a paper with some basic information about the scene. He gave me a nod to start.

"Okay so this first scene was the site where a security guard was found dead last night. It was also where a young college student went missing. Looking around..."

We loaded into the Van after seeing the final spot. It was about ten minutes from where y/n was attacked. At that point that symbiote probably realized he was leaving a trail and switched to animals. Most of the scenes were the same, no blood or sign or a struggle. If it wasn't for the outlines and police tape you wouldn't even know a body had been there. It was quiet for about five minutes.

"Well Eddie I think your vampire idea is out the window. After all there was no blood. Maybe the guys at the morgue will have better information.
