Me and lucas hop down from the tree and get on our bikes. We drive as fast as we can down the roads, a van starts following us as i notice el, mike and dustin ahead of us. "Are they chasing you?" I yell. "Yeah!" They yell back. A van goes in front of us and just as its about to hit us, it flips over. "Holy shit!" I yell.

I look at el. "That was the coolest shit ive ever seen" i say. We bike back to the junkyard. "Holy- holu shit! Did you see what she did to that van?" Dustin asks excitedly. "No, dustin, we missed it" mike says sarcastically making me and lucas laugh. "I mean that was- that was-" dustin starts before lucas cuts him off "awesome. It was awesome"

He goes and sits by el in the grass. "Everything i said about you being a traitor and stuff.. i was wrong. Im sorry." Lucas says while putting his hand on her shoulder. "Friends.. dont..
Friends dont lie. Im sorry too" she says.

"Me, too" mike says while holding out his hand. Lucas gets up and shake it. "We need to tell them" i say to lucas. We grab a couple sticks and set them up as the roads. "This is randolph road here, right here. The fence starts here, and goes all the way down. And this is the lab right here. The gates gotta be there somewhere. Its gotta be" lucas says.

"Well, who owns hawkins lab?" Dustin asks. "The sign says department of energy" i say. "Department of energy? What do you think that means?" Dustin asks. "It means government, military" mike says. "Then why does it say energy?" Dustin asks. "Just trust me. Its military. My dads told me before" mike says.

"Mikes right. Theres soldiers out front" lucas says. "There was a military looking van driving in too" i add. "Do they make like, lightbulbs or something?" Dustin asks. "No, weapons, to fight the russians and commies and stuff" mike says. "Weapons" lucas says while signalling to el with his eyes.

"Oh jesus this is bad" dustin says. "Reallu bad. The place is like a fortress" lucas agrees. "Well what do we do?" Dustin questions. "I dont know, but we cant go home. We're fugitives now" mike says. I hear a helicopter approaching. "Holy shit! Guys we need to hide!" I yell. We shove our bikes below an old bus as we're all rushing eachother.

We run inside the bus and hide. "Get down!" Lucas yells. We all hide against the walls and under seats. "Mental" dustin says. All of the sudden, nancy is talking on Mikes walkie talkie. "Mike, are you there? Mike? Mike its me, Nancy" she says. "Is that your sister?" Lucas asks. "Okay, this is really weird" dustin says.

Lucas goes to grab it but mike pulls back. "Dont answer" he says. "She said it was an emergency" lucas says. "What if its a trick?" Mike asks. "Its your sister!" Lucas yells. "What if the bad people kidnapped her?" Mike asks. All of the sudden hopper talks on it. "Listen kid, you need to answer. We know youre in trouble and we know about the girl" he says.

"Why is she with the chief?" Lucas asks.  "We can protect you, we can help you, but you gotta pick up" hopper says. "Yeah, i copy" mike finally says into the walkie. Dustin starts pacing around. "Can you stop walking around?" Mike asks. "What if you were right? What if this is all a trap? What if the bad men are coming to get us right now?" Dustin asks.

"Its not a trap! The chief wouldnt set us up! Nancy, maybe, but the chief?" Lucas says, trying to calm him down. "Lando Carissian" dustin says. "Would you shut up about Lando" lucas says. "I dont feel good about this. I dont feel good about this" dustin yells. "When do you feel good about anything!?" Lucas yells.

Then theres the sound of cars approaching. We all run to the front of the bus and see a car, and then another one. "Shit!" Dustin yells. "Go go go go" mike says, rushing us back to our hiding spot. "Lando" dustin says when he sits down.

"Do you think they saw us?" Lucas asks.  "Both of you, shut up" mike says. I hear footsteps right behind us. I grab lucas' hand.The door opens, and then theres a punching noise and a grunt. We hear other people getting punched. The door creaks again and we all stand up. Hopper walks in with a gun. "All right, lets go" he says.
