"Come on, Lucas!"

●●●●●

The group sat around Eleven as she explained what she had seen in the void.

"He said he was building something" She explains. "That was all for me"

"Building something...." Max repeats, "Is he talking about the flayed?"

"He must be" Nancy says.

"So, hes building an army, just like we thought" Lucas says.

"Yeah, but he's not building this army to spread" Mike affirms.

"Hes building it to stop Eleven" Will voices.

"Because shes his biggest threat" Leah chimes in.

"Last year, El closed the gate on him. I have a feeling that really pissed him off" Mike says.

"Like, royally" Lucas agrees.

"And the Mind Flayer now knows that she's the only thing that can stop him" Mike declares. "But if shes out of the way..."

"Game over" Lucas finishes.

"And Hawkin's would be in trouble" Leah adds.

"He also said he was gonna kill all of you" Eleven says solemnly, making the look of panic spread to all of their faces.

"Well, thats nice" Max says sarcastically.

Theirs a growling noise outside, and Leah's trembling hand finds her way to Lucas.

"Do you guys hear that?" Asks an anxious Nancy.

"Its just the fireworks" Jonathan says, trying to comfort everyone.

"Billy. When he told you this, it was here,in this room?" Nancy interrogates a still shaking Eleven, getting a nod in return.

The noise of something big and heavy thumping fill Leah's ears.

"He knows we're here" Will says, hand on the back of his neck.

Jonathan begins to run outside, Leah and the others following him, to see fireworks and an even bigger, meaner and angrier monster.

It started crawling towards them, knocking over anything in its path. Leah leaned closer to Lucas, who wrapped an arm around her waist.

The teens ran into the house and started barring up doors, windows. Leah in particular was moving the kichen chairs in front of the back door.

"Get away from the windows" Nancy says as everyone formed a circle in the middle of the living room, weapons drawn. Leah was in between Lucas and Mike, gripping her pocket knife (she knew it wouldn't do much, but she liked the feeling a little protection)

Some of the dishes sitting in the dishrack were starting to clatter, lamps were squeaking, electricity flowing in and out of them, making them flicker. The flashing of the lights only became quicker as those same thumping and growling sounds became louder.

But then, the only thing Leah could hear was the sound of everyone's frantic breathing.

"Where'd it go?" Max asks, breaking the silence.

A long tentacle like arm breaks through the cabin, attacking anything it sees. Leah runs to the opposite side of the cabin, along with the others.

Its tentacle starts going for them, but Jonathan swings at it with his axe.

She watches in horror as it turns straight back at him, flings him to the bookshelf and gets closer, and closer to his face.

Nancy fires her gun at the arm, slicing through its barely held together body. After her last bullet is shot, she runs to the other side, but thats when Eleven raises her arm, and starts pulling it away from her.

More arms come for the telekinetic girl, but she holds them off. With one final yell, she knocks their heads off.

Another arm comes through the roof, grabbing Eleven's leg and pulling her.

"No! No!" She screams as Mike grabs her arms, pulling her.

Leah runs to Mike and her, grabbing Eleven's torso. As everyone starts grabbing her, Nancy gets one more bullet, and shoots it in the mouth.

"Come on Lucas!" Nancy yelled.

Lucas grabbed the axe, and cut its arm.

Eleven falls into Mike's arms, and Leah falls into Lucas's.

Lucas wraps his arms around her as tight as he can. "Leah" He says softly.

The monster wasn't done yet. Eleven stood up, even with her now injured leg, and with a scream, she lifted her arms and ripped the monsters head in half.

Leah grabbed Lucas's hand and ran out the door to Jonathan's car. As they headed to the mart, Leah layed her shaking body by Lucas's.
