"Shit. My walkies broke"

Leahs pov

Im sitting behind mike, el and dustin with my head on lucas' shoulder and his arm is around me. "What if they take her?" I whisper to him. "They wont. We wont let that happen and im making sure of that" he whispers back.

Mike gets up and leaves for a second, then storms back in and says "their gone" "what?" Lucas questions. "Nancy and Jonathan. His cars gone" mike says. "Theyre probably sucking face somewhere" dustin says. "Gross" lucas replies. "No. No way!" Mike adds. "Did they go with the chief?" Dustin asks.

"I heard hopper and Jonathan earlier, he didnt want Jonathan to go with them, wanted him to be safe i think" i say. "Did any of you see them?" Mike asks. "Yes" el says. "Where did they go?" Mike questions. "Demogorgon" she replies. "They leftbus here on a suicide mission. Great" i say.

Me, lucas and dustin stand up and make a circle. "Guys, guys! This is crazy! We cant just wait around" Mike says. "Mike, in case you forgot, we're still fugitives" lucas says. "Only to brenners people. If the rest of the police found out they were experimenting on children i think theyd look right over us" i say.

"We dont even know where your sister is" dustin says. "El can find them" mike says while signaling to her. "Mike, look at her. I still think we should stick to the chiefs plan" dustin says. "Exactly. We stay here, keep El out of sight, and keep her safe. Thats the most important thing remember? Besides, shes okay. Shes with Jonathan" lucas agrees.

"Yeah and shes kind of a badass now so" dustin says as he starts to walk off. "Well, where are you going? You just said stick to the plan!" Mike yells after him. "I am! Im just gonna get some chocolate pudding" dustin says. "Bring me some!" I yell. "I already was!" He yells back. "Ill go with him actually" i say as i start running to catch up to him. Lucas soon follows me.

We walk into the kitchen and open the fridge. "Holy shit its a whole fridge full!" I say while grabbing cans. "Mike! I found the chocolate pudding!" Dustin yells. "Okay!" He yells back. I hear a truck pull up and mike and el scream. We dump the pudding and run after we find Mike and el. "How did they find us?" Lucas asks. "I dont know, but they knew we were in the gym" mike replies.

We almost make it to the doors before more of the people go in. We turn around and start rushinh each other. We go back around a corner and theres more. We go around the third corner and a lady walks in front of us. They all hold up guns and we stop running. I grab lucas' hand. All of the sudden, all the bad mens peoples eyes start to bleed and they drop dead.

And el falls to the ground. "El are you okay?" Mike asks her. We continue shaking her until the 'boss' of this whole shitshow walks around the corner with some of his men. "Leave her" he says. "Step away from the child" he says while his men hold up guns. "No! You want her, you have to kill us first" mike says. "Thats right!" Dustin yells. "Eat shit!" Lucas yells. "Kiss our asses!" I yell. Then some of his men come behind us and grab us.

"No! No! Get off of me! Let go of me!"  We all yell. The man grabs el. She wakes up and looks at us. The lights start flickering. "Blood" mike says. "What?" Lucas questions. "Blood. Blood" mike says again as bricks start to fall. "The demogorgon" i whisper. It breaks through the wall. The men let go of us and start shooting at it.

Dustin grabs el and we all start running. We run into the science room and we lay el on a table. I hold onto lucas' hand. We hear the demogorgon screech. It bursts its way into the room. We all start screaming as lucas takes out his wrist rocket. He hits it but it barely fazes it. Until the last one, which goes right in the back of its throat.

Its body flies back against the chalkboard. El walks in front of us and holds up her hand. We all run after her but she flings us to the back. Me and lucas hold onto eachother as el holds her hand up and screams. The demogorgon screeches so loud, we all cover our ears. Tears fall down my cheeks by the second, as the demogorgon and el disappear.

"Where did she go?" I yell. We all start calling after her. After about 5 minutes we decide that we need to get our things. "Shit. My walkies broke" i say as i hold up my broken in half walkie. The police arrive and im sitting in an ambulance with my head on lucas' shoulder and his arm around me. My mom comes up to me and hugs me. "Im so happy youre okay" she says. Soon, mrs Sinclair comes up to lucas and he starts crying. Joyce comes up to us with tears in her eyes. "Will's okay" she says.

We've been at the hospital for a while now, my head is on lucas' shoulder and we're both knocked out. Jonathan walks into the room and says "you guys can see him" we run into the room and we all hug him. "BYERS!" me and lucas scream. "You wont believe what happened when you were gone man" dustin says.

"You had a funeral" lucas says. "Jennifer hayes was crying" "troy peed himself" "in front of the whole school" we all say overlapping eachother. Then Will starts coughing. "You okay?" Mike asks him. "It got me. The demogorgon" Will says. "We know" dustin says. "We made a new friend" mike says. Its gonna be better with Will back.
