Killian pov

Hi, I'm Killian Lucero, I'm 17 years old and I have cancer. Nobody knows except for my parents and my little sister Taylor, who's 13. Violet is also my adopted sister and she knows about my cancer too. My parents are her legal guardians but she lives alone in our trailer park and takes care of herself, just like me. My friends are Kyle, Addison, Tyler, Anderson and Seth. Kyle and Addison are dating and Seth is gay. We're the popular kids in school. I'm the leader of a gang, called the Wind Warriors. The reason I'm popular isn't really because people like me, but more because I have lots of power. My cancer has not really changed for years. I mean, it hasn't gotten worse, but it hasn't gotten better either. I live in a small town outside of New York, called Hullbeck. I go to New Jersey every weekend for my treatments, which is about an hour away from where I live. My friends don't know about my cancer, I just tell them that I go to visit my aunt every weekend who lives in New Jersey. Kyle Andrews has been my best friend since we were born, and we became friends with Seth in middle school. Kyle started dating Addison about a week after she moved here, and they are the IT couple at school, though Addison and I aren't very close. That's it about me!

Rosie pov

Hi, I'm Roselyn Gentry, but I go by Rosie. I'm 16 years old and I recently moved to New Jersey with my mom. I'm a prodigy and recently graduated from Stanford Medical School. I start my job at the Kindred Hospital in New Jersey tomorrow. I'm so excited! Since I excelled at tumours in school, I will be working in the cancer ward. My best friend is Addison Greene. She used to live with me but moved to a small town outside of New York about two years ago. We keep in touch as much as we can but we only really talk once a week. My ex-boyfriend is Zane Morse. I thought I could trust him but then he raped me. That was a little bit before Addison moved, and she knows what happened. I haven't dated anyone since because of trauma.
