Rosie pov

It was the day I was going to see Addison. I didn't remember the exact name of the town, but I remember her saying something about it being in New York or nearby. It's been so long since I've seen her. For some reason, the hospital has been pretty quiet lately so I got two weeks off. I was super excited to see her, but I would miss my Killie. At least we can still message every day. I gave my mom the address that Addie sent me and she put it in the GPS. It was about forty minutes away. We got there pretty quickly because there was no traffic. Addie told me to meet her at a local diner in town. And because the town was so damn tiny, I found it pretty quickly and found her sitting at a book with a red-headed dude, a tall muscular dude, a purple-haired girl, and a shorter guy who were all wearing leather jackets. Then I saw... Killie? What was he doing here? I didn't see his face because he looked the other way, but I saw the beanie he's always wearing.

Addison - "Oh, she's here!"

She jumped out of her seat and hugged me. I smiled and hugged her back. We pulled away and my eyes locked with Killians'. We were both confused as to what the other was doing here. He slowly shook his head to indicate he didn't want them to know about us.

Rosie - "Hi, everyone. Nice to meet you"

I sat down in the booth next to Killie. Now I recognized all the people that were sitting there. The red-head was Kyle Andrews. The purple hair girl was Violet. Kil told me all about her, his adopted little sister. The tall one was Tyler. He was a tough asshole but from what Killie told me he's just putting on an act because he's scared. I minored in psychology so I know a little better than other people. Then there was Anderson. Killie says he also acts like a tough guy but he's just a drama queen. He told me that Kyle was dating someone, but he never told me her name and he said they weren't very close.

Addison - "So Ro, how's your new job going?"

Rosie - "Amazing, actually!"

Violet - "What do you do? If you don't mind me asking"

Rosie - "Oh not at all, Violet. I-"

Violet - "Wait, how do you know my name?"

Rosie - "Um... Addison told me..."

She looked confused but eventually nodded.

Rosie - "Moving on, to answer your question, I work at a hospital"

Anderson - "How old are you?"

Rosie - "Seventeen. I graduated from med school about two months ago"

Kyle - "Wow, that's pretty impressive"

Killian - "Yeah, no shit, Sherlocks"

I giggled. Killie always knew how to make me laugh. We moved our hands closer to each other under the table and laced our fingers together without anyone noticing. I smiled.

Tyler - "So, how do you two know each other?"

He pointed between Kil and me.

Rosie - "Um..."

Killian - "We don't....?"

Anderson - (snorts) "Because that's so convincing"

I was kind of hungry and they had already ordered food so I stole a fry from Killie.

Killian - "Hey!"

I smirked and whispered in his ear.

Rosie - "C'mon, where's my teddy bear?"

I leaned back and he slid his whole plate towards me. I giggled and everyone else was shocked. I knew Killie was a big foodie so they must have been surprised when he gave me his food.

Violet - "I need to know how you made him do that. I have to use that threat against him"

Rosie - (giggles) "I have my ways"

Killian - (mumbles) "This is blackmail"

I smiled and whispered in his ear again.

Rosie - "Girlfriend privileges"

Killian - "Fair enough"

Tyler - "Seriously, though, we need to know how you do this"

Rosie - "Oh then let me tell you all about-"

Suddenly, Killie put his hand over my mouth, preventing me from saying anything.

Killian - "No"

I smiled and bit his hand and he snapped it back.

Killian - "Ow!"

Rosie - "Oh you'll get over it, you big baby"

He chuckled and took another bite of his food.

Kyle - "Seriously, Kil, you've never acted like this before. What is going on between you two?"

I suppressed a smirk.

Rosie - "Nothing"

We continued talking for a bit and after we left, I went back with Killie to his trailer. We sat down on his couch together.

Killian - "So, how did you like everyone?"

Rosie - "They all seem really nice. I never had many friends in school because most people bullied me for being smart and called me a nerd.

Killian - "Being a nerd isn't a bad thing, they're just saying you're smart. And if it means anything, you're the cutest nerd there is"

Rosie - (giggles) "Thank you, Killie"

I kissed him, and that led to a make-out session. I straddled his lap and started tugging at the hem of his shirt, but he pulled away.

Killian - "Are you completely sure, baby? I don't want to pressure you into anything that you're not ready for. Especially after Zane"

Rosie - "I'm okay, Killie. I want this, I'm sure"

We kissed and... well...
