Killian pov

*A week later*

Rosie told me everything about her father. If he wasn't already dead, I would've murdered him myself. She said Gwen is one of the only people that knew. I was really surprised when I found out that Gwen Blossom was Rosie's cousin and that Rose was a Blossom. Rosie and I still kept our fling a secret but we could tell people were getting a bit suspicious of us. We teased them a bit and they are going crazy. There is one week left of summer break and I really don't want to go back to school. And as expected, Gwen had organized a party for the last week of summer and literally invited every kid that goes to Hullbeck High. She still doesn't know that Rosie is in town so we all decided that we can surprise her at the party. When we got there, most people were already there. We went inside and Gwen was standing on a table.

Gwen - "Thank you all for coming! So, let's get started. Get drunk, have fun, and of course, cause mischief!"

Everyone was standing around the table watching here.

Rosie - "Gwen Blossom. Is that you?"

Gwen - "Cousin Rosie!"

She ran up to us and pushed us out of the way to hug Rosie.

Gwen - "How have you been? After... everything?"

Rosie - "Getting there"

I felt so bad for her. I caressed her hand lightly and she intertwined her fingers with mine, Of course, everyone noticed.

Gwen - "Well well well. Is the warrior king smitten with my cousin?"

Killian - "Oh god, not you too"

Everyone laughed.

Tyler - "Alright well I'm gonna go meet up with Vicky.

Violet - "No bring her here and introduce us"

Tyler - "Okay, fine. Gimme a sec"

He left and walked away to go find her.

Anderson - "I'm gonna go get drinks. You guys want anything?"

I felt Rosie tense up so I held her hand tighter. She said her dad was often drunk so when he said that it must have triggered her memories.

Violet - "I'll have something. Surprise me"

Addison - "Me too"

Kyle - "Bring me a beer, please"

Anderson - "Surprises for Violet and Addie. Does Rosillian want anything?"

Rosie - "I-I'm o-okay"

Killian - "I'll pass. Um, Rosie, can I show you something?"

She nodded. I was trying to get her out of there because I thought she was about to have another panic attack. I took her to one of the bedrooms and tried to calm her down.

Killian - "Baby, it's okay. I'm right here and I won't let anything happen to you ever again. Remember, always and forever"

Rosie - "A-Always an-and f-for-forever"

I whispered comforting things to her and after a few minutes, she calmed down. We kissed shortly and went back out where everyone was. We were walking next to each other, but because everyone was there, we weren't holding hands. Then, Gretchen came up to us.

Gretchen - "Kil! So good to see you! How've you been? Why don't we go somewhere private and we can... catch up?"

Killian - "I'm good, Gretchen. And it wasn't nice seeing you. I hope I don't see you again"

Gretchen - "Oh, Killian, you're so funny! And who is this?"

She motioned towards Rosie, clearly annoyed.

Rosie - "I'm Rosie. Nice to meet you"

Gretchen - "Yeah, I know it is. Kil, why don't you come with me into one of the rooms? Remember all the fun we had together?"

Killian - "For the last time, Gretchen, we didn't do anything"

Gretchen - "You're such a gentleman. Even afterwards, you slept on the couch"

I was about to say something but Rosie stepped in before I could.

Rosie - "I see you're not very good at taking a hint. Killian isn't interested in you and unless you have proof that you two slept together, it's pretty clear that you're just an attention-seeker"

Gretchen scoffed and walked away.

Killian - "Thank you for that"

Rosie - (smiles) "Nobody tries to steal my man"

I gave her a soft kiss on her head and we saw our friends so we went up to them.

Tyler - "Where did you two lovebirds go?"

Rosie - "Um... I was having a panic attack and Kil was with me"

Addison - "Oh my gosh, Ro, are you okay?"

Rosie - "Yeah, I'm good. Kil helped to calm me down"

Kyle - (smirks) "Well isn't he the perfect gentleman"

Killian - "Oh fuck off Kyle"

Rosie - "And then Bitch Gretchen came and tried to flirt with Killian, bit failed miserably"

Gwen - "Is someone jealous?"

Rosie - "Jealous? N-No"

Violet - "Oh because that's so convincing"

We all talked for a little bit and then Rosie's phone rang. She took it out of her pocket and saw that it was Nurse Connors.

Killian - "Why is she calling you?"

Rosie - "I'm not sure. Gimme one sec"

She walked to another room to answer the phone.

Tyler - "Dude, why aren't you two dating?"

Killian - "What are you talking about, Ty?"

Anderson - "You're obviously head over heels in love with that girl so why haven't you made a move yet, man?"

Addison - "Well who says he hasn't?"

I glared at Addison, trying to tell her not to say anything. She was tipsy, so I was worried she might let something slip.

Kyle - "What do you mean, Addie?"

Addison - "Rosie told me that she and Killian-"

Before she could say anything else, I covered her mouth with my hand.

Killian - "No"

Violet - "Wait, does this have to do with what you were about to tell us in the diner the other day when we found out about Zane?"

Addison and I both nodded.

Killian - "But, Addison, you promised Rosie"

Addison - (groans) "Ugh, fine!"

Just then, Rosie came back with tears in her eyes. Addison immediately ran up to her and hugged her, while Rosie just sobbed her eyes out.

Addison - "Ro, what's wrong?"

She didn't say anything. She just continued to sob onto Addison's shoulder. What was wrong?
