Bringggggggggggggg!!!
I woke up to the same infuriating sound of bell I hear everyday. We do wake up by four o'clock in the  morning and sleep by ten o'clock in the night.

I quickly went to the bathroom after pulling my nightdress,which was also given to us in the Convent,it was same colour for everybody,it was made of a linen material and it's white in colour.

So any tiny stain was easily detected and mother Monika does not fail to check in an impromptu manner. You are a goner once your nightdress is dirty on that fateful day.

I wrapped my towel around my body and ran to the bathroom,so as to meet less people queued up to take their bath.

We had six bathroom cubicles for the while hostel and we all have to take our bath and meet up with the daily activities,one couldn't complain that a long queue made one late.

It wasn't considered an excuse and one will be punished accordingly. It have always been like this but we too have been used to it.

In the prayer Hall,we prayed for three hours today again and my knee ached like crazy.... When we were done,we moved to the dinning hall.. everybody seemed excited today and i even saw sister Michelle talking to someone.

I was so surprised she could talk that much. I shouted when I felt someone hopped on me from behind.

'Eh girl,why did you scream like that?'Anna asked looking shocked.

'Says the girl who hopped on someone unexpectedly',I lashed back at her.

'Oooooh,calm down. I do it once in a while',she argued.

'And I keep warning you to stop it',I replied.  

'That aside, isn't that sister Michelle your roommate whom you told me never talks',she queried.

'Of course, that's her',I answered.

'She isn't as you described,she has been talking to the other sister freely since',she said.

'Am surprised too Anna',I answered looking at sister Michelle.

'Maybe she doesn't like you',Anna said giggling.

'Oh,spare me. She might just feel free with that sister more than anyone. I talk to you better than anyone you know. We all have our group and ramports in this convent,you know that. I can't be the one to start explaining that',I said looking disgusted.

'Ehmmm, it's okay I understand.

Enjoy your breakfast, bye',she said waving at me and making her way to her table in the dinning hall.

After the breakfast session,we made our way to the courtyard for our work allocations. I was asked to mop the prayer Hall.

So I had to wait for it to be swept first before mopping. While waiting,I moved  round a bit conscious of mother Monika though.

I saw everyone working tirelessly and even if you are tired we couldn't show it.

I wondered how we came to existence and how all of us are all in this place.

We were taught that God created garden of Eden but it seems like the name changed to Convent. Seeing that everybody lives in this convent.

After my tour,I quickly went back to the prayer Hall and mopped it.

Then I went to dry the mop and dropped the bucket and made my way back to the prayer Hall.

We prayed for three hours and we were asked to do an hour meditation before going to the dinning hall.

Getting to the dinning hall,we ate a lunch of boiled beans with fried stew. You couldn't stab your food because work follows and if you don't eat you won't be able to carry out your work effectively.

Done with our lunch,we followed sister Angelica to the field and we were allocated work to do again.

Don't know how there was always work to do on this field every single day.

Mother Monika was with us through out today,so I gathered courage to spill out the bothering question in my mind.

'Mother Monika,please how were we formed',I asked with my hands In the air.

She looked at me for a while and then opened her mouth to say something.

'Well that's why I keep telling you to work effectively on this field. Because the plants you plants are the ones that produces babies after a while. So if you work hard and do your work diligently,it will produce beautiful and adorable babies. Who will grow to become like you sisters'. She finished.

We were all so thrilled by her answer that we all got back to work expecting beautiful and brilliant babies in return.....
