17. Everything Cocktail

Today I got a call from Levi
' how is your day going? I wanted to inform you that I have a cocktail party tomorrow. Are you interested ' he said from the other on line

' of course am interested ' I answered joyfully before dropping my phone and moving to the wardrobe.

A party again after that one we went to it's been months I went to another nice party. So I'm really excited

My wardrobe was filled with a lot of clothes that I could just pick from. I picked a yellow colored  gown  with buttons on it and a tiny belt with a yellow opened toe heels. I chose a collection of silver

jewelries. The necklace, bracelet and earrings.
Satisfied with my selection I arranged them separately.

I was really looking forward to Levi's return so we could talk about the party more. A cocktail party??. I'm so anxious

After Levi arrived I showed him the dress I picked and asked him about the party. He said it's for his office colleagues this time and some shareholders from all over the country. I started to think if I was not going to be shy or what I was to do if anyone approaches me and asks for anything.

I will become dumb immediately, I laughed silently at my foolishness

' Bethany did you hear all I said at all' Levi brought me back to my surroundings

' oh sorry I spaced out. What did you say? ' I asked
' nothing, forget it ' he said and went to the bathroom after removing his clothes to take a shower

I just kept looking at my clothes and kept them neatly in place again.

****The next day****

We woke up and Levi told me he wasn't going to office that day. That he had a lot to prepare for the party
I went to brush my teeth and went to make noodles for me and him. He ate after taking his bath and he went back to the room to focus on his laptop. He kept pressing and pressing till I had to leave because the sound was annoying
