13. My therapist

It's been two months or so since Levi and I went to the amusement park and we've been living fine and everything have been worthwhile.
I keep finding amazing and more interesting things everyday in the city.

Sadly,I haven't been able to reach Anna or met her since that day. I can't help but think.about her once in awhile.

I am In the bathroom now, getting ready to go and deliver Levi's food to him in his office. I now know how to cook anything thanks to Levi who hired a chef to teach me. I find cooking so easy and worthwhile..

I was done dressing and I packed the lunchbox and went out to get a cab. I couldn't drive a car yet, don't know if it's because am scared or I ain't just ready yet.

I alighted at the bus stop close to Levi's office and trekked the remaining distance. I got there in no time and entered and asked the receptionist for direction which she explained and continued her work..

I used the elevator and got to the entrance of his office. I kept looking around in awe all through my way to his office. I eventually entered and met him and a lady

She was sitting on his  laps and she jumped up when the door opened

Levi jumped away from her too and came rushing towards me

'bethany you are here. Have a seat,food for me? Didn't know you will come now..it isn't time for lunch yet. But no problem' he kept rambling on

'get out. Why are you still here?' he shouted at the lady

'oh,sorry sir' she bowed and left

'what audacity.' he scoffed

' you shouldn't have shouted at her' I said

' ohh,you are pitying her. Please let's change the topic' he said

And I shoved the thought that there was something between them away immediately.. I might have seen wrong or a circumstance called for it. Whatever it is, let's move on.

' just eat your food..I am going to my therapist ' I said and stood up

'oh okay. Bye' he escorted me his door and went back

I took another cab to Eliza hospital

I knocked at the therapist office as I had another appointment today too.
He has been so nice and caring towards me ever since and he was always ready to listen to me Everytime I guess that's what his work entails moreover

'come in' the doctor said

'good afternoon doctor. How have you been' I said

'we see each other frequently. So just go straight to the point' he said smiling

'ah okay. Nothing much,just wanna ask today that how's my mental health' I said

' oh I see. It is improving greatly Bethany' he said

'glad to hear that. So if I should be heartbroken I will still be okay right? Might just cry for a while like others but am gonna be okay right?' I said

' yes you will be okay.. and why did you ask? What's up between you and Levi. He's the only one you know here. So what's bringing about heartbreak?' he asked

'maybe just asking. Better save than be sorry' I said shrugging

' I don't buy that. What's the.matter. remember don't lie or keep anything from the therapist' he said sounding reassuring

'okay.i went to Levi's office and didn't knock and met a lady on his laps..am trying not to believe it that i saw it wrong. Am trying to shove it away but It won't go.i mean he told me he loves me right? ' I said finally running my hands through my hair looking so frustrated

' I understand all you said seriously..but it.might not be what you think. Or I think you should ask him. Like talk to him about it' he said

'he won't say "yes Bethany,am cheating on you" will he?' I was so frustrated now

' ah,you should take things easy please. Don't overthink it. Just confront him,if you can't then start planning for yourself Bethany' he said

' okay then. Of course I can't confront him. Have never been in this kind of situation and he brought me to the city. I don't also know to plan for anything without Levi . Arghhhhhh,so useless' I said

'just take things slowly. I have another appointment already. Be careful Bethany. Later then. You can Chat me up later' he said

I stood up and went out . I took a deep breath once i was outside the hospital and went to get a cab and head home immediately.

Levi said he was taking me for a party on Sunday night.

Gonna start preparing for it. I don't really love crowds or parties but I have no choice I guess Levi needed a woman for this one because he never really take me to his parties.
