CLUELESS [18+]

1. The beginning

"Move to the prayer hall everyone and don't waste time." Mother Monica shouted.

We started running while some people fell down we didn't care because everyone dreaded mother Monica.

Oh wait let me introduce myself,am Bethany and am just eighteen years old.

And we've always been in this place called Convent. I Know you are wondering why I used we,am referring to all my sisters.

They are the ones I know,we were told that we are all from the same place, thing or whatever mother Monika said.....

.....l was almost out of breath because of all the running. We prayed for hours in the prayer Hall and no one could complain even if our knees go numb.

We later finished the prayers that seem like it will never end.

We moved to the dining room to each our food, our food was mainly veggies. So you hardly see anyone that is fat among us.

When we were done eating,we all went to the courtyard to receive our work allocations.

The elderly ones among us were asked to wash the restrooms and our sheets and scrub the drainages.

The young ones were always asked to mop,sweep,arrange and dust the furnitures and windows.

When we are done with this,we go for another round of four hours prayer before going to eat again and then we will all be taken to the field in the convent to weed,water and plant.

I was allocated to sweep the hallway,I went to the store to pick up a broom and a Parker and made my way to the hallway immediately.

It was a very long hallway but who am I to complain anyway.

I swept it for what seems like forever and mother Monika coming to check like twice made the work more frustrating but fast though.

I couldn't think of what will befall me if she caught me slacking on my duty. Done with my work,I packed the dirt into a nearby bin and went to wash up for the afternoon prayer.

We waited for everyone to be present before starting the prayer. No one dared to be late and you can't hide somewhere because mother Monika always know a way to find such a person and she knows when we aren't complete.

How she does that I don't know because we were over seventy in the convent.

After our prayer,we all made our ways to the dinning hall to eat and we were served little rice with a lot of veggies.

Being used to it,we all ate in silence and sister Angelica,who oversees the field work for mother Monika took us to the field. And when we got there,our works were allocated to is without wasting any time. We all got to work immediately the elderly ones among us shared our work tools

After two hours of intense work on the field,we were dismissed.

And i went to look for my best friend Anna,we only get to see and talk to each other after the whole work of the day was done.
