The Doctor's POV

I feel so bad for Rose, Shes been through so much and it's all my fault. Her and Danielle would probably still be in the alternate universe. Rose would be with her mum, newborn brother, Mickey, her dad, Danielle and TenToo.

Rose would be living a happy life with a potential boyfriend and Danielle. But I took that happiness from her and now she's suffering.

I started this bedroom project to get things off her mind it seems to be working, for now.

I need to goto the library to calm myself down.

" I'll be right back Rosie. " I tell her and kiss her cheek.

" Okay. " She replies.

Rose's POV

I can tell there is something wrong with him but I don't want to bother him. Maybe he needs a break away from me, I mean I am pretty stressful to deal with.

'For goodness sakes what's my problem.' I think to myself.

I decide to go find out what's wrong with him.

'Where does he go when he's stressed..?' I think, 'The library!'

I walk into the library to see The Doctor pacing back and forth biting at his stubby fingernails.

" Hey. " I say to him, " What's wrong? "

" It's nothing. " He murmurs

" It's obviously something. " I say and walk up to him embracing him in a hug.
" You know you can tell me anything, right? "

" Yeah. " He huffs. " Sorry for being a jerk. "

" What're you talking about? You just needed a break from me. " I say to him

" What? I never said that. " He says confused.

" Oh well. " I sigh, " Can we have lunch?"

" Of course. " He smiles grabbing my hand, " Lets goto a little diner, shall we? "

" Of Course. " I respond gripping onto his hand.

We arrive at a small diner in 1966, it's very old fashioned and lovely.

We take our seats and begin to look through the menu.

" What would you like to drink, Madam?" The waiter asks me

" Tea please. " I reply to him.

" Water please. " The Doctor tells the waiter.

" Oh I absolutely love it here! " I giggle.

" Me too. " The Doctor grins, " I'm glad you're enjoying yourself. "

" Yeah I am, thank you. " I lean over and peck his lips. " I love you. "

" I love you more. " He says grabbing my hand and caressing my promise ring.

" Soon. " He murmurs.

The waiter arrives at our table with our drinks and asks us for our order. I order a garden salad without dressing and a small tray of chips.

The Doctor orders nothing but another water.

" Why aren't you eating? " I ask him

" Time lords don't eat as much as humans." He says

" But I'm not really human anymore. " I laugh.

" Correct. " He says, " I'll be back let me go pay. "

I sit and wait at our table for a minute, I call The Doctor and tell him I'm going to wait in the Tardis.

As I walk in the direction of the Tardis through a dark alley way a couple of drunk men block my path. I know they're drunk because I can smell the alcohol on them all.

" Hey sweetie. " One calls

" What's happenin' " Another says.

They stutter towards me slurring random words and phrases around.

They crowd around me and start tugging at my clothes and saying weird things. I start to freak out.

" DOCTOR! " I scream and within seconds he appears in the alley and goes crazy and takes down all of the drunk men, leaving them scattered around and knocked out.

" Rose I'm so sorry, did they hurt you or touch you. Ugh this is all my fault. " He panics putting his face in his palms.

" I'm fine, look at me. " I say putting my pointer finger under his chin and I lift up his head so I can see his big brown puppy eyes.

" It's okay " I hush him and whisper sweet nothings into his ear.

" I love you Rose. " He whimpers.

" I love you more. " I say back. " Now lets go finish our room. " I giggle and pull him by his hands and into the Tardis with me.
